    I ordered 3 genuine GE refrigerator water filters from this company online on 3/24/2023. The order number was *************. They advertised 3 filters for $69.97. They arrived a few days later and I inspected the boxes and filters. They appeared to be genuine filters. They were put in storage as the filters need to be changed every 6 months and I ordered these to keep on hand for the next filter change in 6 months. When it came time to change the filter in September I inserted one of these filters. The refrigerator would not accept any of the filters. The water dispenser would lock and not dispense any water. I reinserted the previous filter which did work. In doing some online research I discovered that each filter should be equipped with a chip for the refrigerator to read. The chip fits in a cutout in the plastic of the filter and is covered by a sticky label. All of the filters I ordered from this company were missing the chip; therefore, they were useless. I have tried calling this company multiple times (9/26, 9/27, 9/28] and left messages. I also tried to get through numerous other times but always get an automated messaging system. No one has ever returned my call. I then tried to resolve through PayPal, but they could not help because the transaction was more than 6 months prior (by a few days). I called my credit card company but issues need to be reported to them within 2 billing cycles so no resolution there. I then contacted the company by email through their website. The response was that since PayPals intervention they no longer possess the authority to intervene or process a refund directly. Multiple emails trying to get resolution result in the same non-helpful response.

    Hello!!From Elecmecc, I purchased 4 GE water filters (RPWFE) for my refrigerator for $62.97 on March 18, 2023. The first filter I used worked fine. They are supposed to last approximately 6 months each. On July 25th, I had to replace the water filter. I took one of the filters I ordered from Elecmecc and changed it out. The filter did not work. Tried a couple of times to make sure it was placed correctly but it did not work. I opened another filter and the same thing happened. I looked at the old filter that worked and the two new ones I opened and noticed they were not the correct filters for my fridge. I then checked the fourth fitler and noticed it was not the correct filter for my fridge. I contacted Elecmecc about the mistake that was made on their part. I asked for either a refund or and exchange for the correct filters. They said I had exceeded their return and refund processing time and they no longer promise anything. I explained that this was an error on their part and it would take some time to see that due to the type of product it is and not needing their product for months. I unfortunately received the same response. I emailed again requesting help with their mistake and I received the same email again. Unfortunately I do not believe this is a legitimate company.

    On May 18, 2023 at 10:29 a.m. I placed an order for a GE water filter. I received an email stating the product had been shipped on May 19, 2023 at 4:03 p.m. and that I should expect the product in 3-5 business days.I have tracked the product for the past three weeks and according to their tracking information, the product has been in ***********, ** since May 25th. Every few days it updates to say it has left *********** only to say it has arrived in *********** the next day.I have emailed the company twice on May 31st and June 7th. Both times I received an email response the following day stating nearly word for word the same response. They have only asked that I be patient because the Memorial Day holiday caused shipping delays and they have asked the freight carrier to expedite my order. In the June 7th email I asked for a full refund, but they have not addressed that request.Since placing my order and having it take a ridiculously long time to not arrive, I have researched the company and found that this is a very common problem with their firm and that the products never get delivered and refunds are not refunded.

    I ordered 2 refrigerator water filters and they came without the microchip on them. So they are fake water filters. I have contacted the company and they said they would give me a refund, then they changed their mind and will not give me a refund. Very frustrating.this is what they sent me:We are also sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, in any case, I don't want to disappoint our valued customers. So I have purposely escalated your case and finally, the leader has agreed to provide you with a 100% refund without returning the package. Is that acceptable to you? I found that you initiated a dispute on Stripe, could you close the dispute first? Because ******'s intervention has a great impact on our account, we would appreciate your understanding.I'm looking forward to your kind feedback.Best regards,*****
