I paid this company to transport a vehicle from CA to **. The price started at $875. It ended up being $1450! That isn't the worst part. They NEVER delivered my vehicle. Even after I called to inform them that ******** said the gps was disabled, they insisted the vehicle was still on the way. I NEVER GOT MY VEHICLE!!! From the start, the entire experience was stressful and second rate. Because they had a deposit, which they insisted on, I allowed them to continue looking for a carrier. The carrier they gave me wasn't who picked the car up, although they said it was. They aren't insured as they claim. My vehicle was stolen in their care, and nothing was done to compensate me. This company is fraudulent. They LIE LIE LIE just to make a sale.

I was told several times via text and email from **** @ SAS american Logistics what my price to the drive is and agreed. Upon having a driver pick up at a short notice although the schedule was for the next day I am given an amount almost 3 times what I was told as stated on the contract. I paid the $100 reservation and $480 is due to the driver at time of delivery. Now I am told it will be $1178.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against SAS American Logistics for a significant breach of contract and deceptive business practices. On July 20 2024, I contracted with SAS American Logistics, specifically with a representative named ********, to transport my vehicle from ******, ** to *****, **. ******** provided a quote of $350 for the service, which she assured me was the final price. Based on this agreement, I made necessary arrangements, including taking time off work and purchasing airline tickets to *******Despite confirming the pickup for August 2nd, ******** failed to provide any updates regarding the driver's arrival time. On August 1st, the day before the scheduled pickup, ******** abruptly increased the price to $650. This sudden and substantial price hike constitutes a clear breach of our agreed-upon terms.I have attached copies of our communication, including chat logs, which unequivocally demonstrate the original quote of $350. This deceitful behavior has caused me significant inconvenience and financial loss due to missed work and airline expenses.I request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against SAS American Logistics.

Greetings to whom it may concern!!

My name is ******* and I am the project manager of SAS AMERICAN LOGITICS LLC. I am writing this in regards to a recent complaint that we got from customer named as " **************** " . They requested the vehicle for the shipment the agent named as *************************. She did her best to find the driver under a price that was quoted to the customer under the contractual terms. But since there was no driver found that was willing to perform the job under the quoted price she informed the customer about all the situation and price that the drivers were asking. The customer told her that this price did not suit him and he wants to cancel the contract and want the refund for the amount that they paid as a reservation fee. As per our contract we went ahead with an immediate refund and dissolved the contract following our customer's privacy policy.
We kept them aware of all the matter and situation that occurred prior then their pick up date and apologized for all the matter created.
Still we promised them for a better experience and service for the next time. Moreover we conducted managerial call for the apology. Being a customer they just saw their side of the picture and didn't understood the company position although we were honest and transparent throughout the time.

Please reach me out for any more assistance.
    Regards,
