My husband brought our pit bull Blue of 12 years to the office on July 20th 2022 to be cremated. He had passed away earlier that morning. I called and made the appointment for 12:30pm. My husband struggled to get up out of the car .Our Blue was 75 pounds and my husband also has back problems. Not one person helped him get him out of the car..they watched him struggle. The whole time my husband is visibly distraught and upset. The lack of sensitivity and empathy for him was disgusting. The fact that not one person intervened is appalling. That was a family member and my husband had to get him on the gurney by himself. That was extremely traumatic. We are on a tight budget and we paid for a private cremation and we expected more from this establishment. I cannot wrap my head around how they let my husband struggle to carry our Blue out of the car. Disgusted . For the amount of money they charge people we expected better service ...it was hard enough losing Blue and then to experience that...we will never forgive that.

I am writing in response to the complaint filed by ******* *******.  Her deceased dog was brought into the clinic for cremation.  She stated that no one helped her husband bring the deceased dog into the clinic.  This information is entirely incorrect.  Although we had limited staff at the time of her husband’s arrival, two of our veterinary receptionists brought out a stretcher and worked to assist the owner in bringing the deceased pet into the hospital.  We understand the importance of animal family members and we treat these situations with compassion and respect. I have spoken to staff members to verify the information I have provided is accurate.  Please feel free to contact me if there are any questions.

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't feel like they handled anything about this correctly....I hope this does not happen to anyone else. This was our son and we could have used a little more sensitivity.
