This complaint was submitted to the ***** Oct 3rd, I visited ** in ********* to get court ordered cashiers check from the trust account. ****** at bank reviewed court documents. After some time ****** came out to me, no professional introduction, approached me smiling while saying I really hope you have the documents we need in that cute little binder of yours. Her tone was inappropriate & smug. The binder she was referring to I had contained legal docs for probate. She belittled me like I was insignificant. She was not specific on what was needed. I asked for more clarification. It became evident she has not seen or had experience in customers with probate court orders. I showed her the court documents (she was holding on to the certified copies), but the electronic copies filed by the court she grazed over, dissatisfied they were not certified copies. I told her only certified copies are the first page of the court probate papers, & the courts e file everything else. Attorneys on may phone with them while waiting on ****** for 48 minutes. I got up & walked over to the side by Monicas open area desk, with my attorneys office on the phone. She continued to sit by her computer popping her head to glance at me. Attorneys sent ten page doc- she did not acknowledge me or if she had seen the docs my attorneys office emailed her. Attorneys said not normal for a bank to be this difficult- I have a court order & opened the trust account there myself - I am the only one on the account. Poor service, non transparency, and lack of appropriate communication was appalling. This was a massive inconvenience with court procedure to which the delay will cost me in probate. 10/9, brief meeting was inconclusive to my probate duties again with ******. Poor communication, mixed messages & inability to provide a proper procedure in a timely manner all seem wrong to me. Worst bank ever. Paid our Truck payment over website as we have done every month for 4 years. Get confirmation from bank. Call them as I had not seen payment pulled from our account and to ask why it showed we were overdue. ********* tells me that it is because it was our end of term and just to pay the remaining balance and we will be good and paid off, also stated he showed payment posted and then come to find out they kicked it back our first payment for some reason, my bank say they never even tried to collect payment. In turn they reported us to credit bureau, and it dropped our credit badly. Tried calling to no avail to ask them to fix and they refuse. If you can do not ever do business with this bank, they are thieves and rip-offs !!! Worst customer care ever.Mechanics Bank Response

Absolutely ridiculous company!! trying to pay my car note and believe it or not, the bank will not accept payment!! It's the 9th of the month, my payments have been reversed twice! the money is still sitting in my account. call customer service and they said it's my financial bank's fault, called them and they said no record of payment reversals on my account. payment was accepted last month when i called mechanics bank and made a payment over the phone for a $10 fee!!!! Terrible! Next month paying a different way hope it works out for me. no more paying on website or mobile app, rip offs!!Mechanics Bank Response

I sold my vehicle to my uncle over a month ago and they never applied his bank's check to the account. I paid 167 and change to close out the account and bring it to a $0 balance so that they can release the title. The account still is not zeroed out and has a greater balance than I owed at the time of sale. They keep losing the paperwork I send them for releasing the title to his bank. At this point it seems like they accepted the check from his bank but are still charging me. They are refusing to back date my paperwork to when I made the final payment and are charging late fees as well as reporting negatively on my credit. The mess up is on their end and they still want to collect from me instead of correcting the error. I will never do business with them again.Mechanics Bank Response

1.Excessive Phone Calls: I am receiving multiple phone calls every day from various numbers associated with Mechanics Bank. This persistent barrage of calls has created an atmosphere of harassment and discomfort.2.Threats and Intimidation: Every time I engage with customer service representatives, I am subjected to threats and intimidation. These actions are wholly unacceptable and contribute to an environment of fear and anxiety.3.Insensitive Remarks: During discussions about my financial situation, I have been consistently told that I am not the only person facing hardships. Moreover, inappropriate comments have been made about my status as a single parent, including unwarranted advice about choosing a better baby daddy. I have neither loans nor commercial accounts, yet *** performs multiple services crucial to my SMALL personal account:1. STOPPED payment on bogus transactions when my debit card or account information was illegal purchased by criminals or otherwise obtained without my consent--thousands of dollars in transactions HALTED or REVERSED.2. Provided REPLACEMENT DEBIT CARDS when account hacked.3. Provided replacement card when my wife lost hers.4. Reviewed with me all recent account transactions to assure "no losses".*** is just one of multiple expert and cordial staff members at **********, ***********, but because he has been so often unfailingly gracious and helpful, I mention him by name. Their behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful, lacking in knowledge. The managers become easily irritated and even made jokes when I expressed my distress. Their response was to suggest seeking legal advice for my concerns, wishing me luck.Mechanics Bank Response

*** had a really horrible experience with this bank overall. They only have a few customer service representatives you can speak with. Theres a few who are okay like ******, I recently spoke with someone who went by **************** who was very rude and had no manners on the phone. She wasnt very helpful or able to give me much information about my payments. I asked her for her first name and she refused to give it to me.Mechanics Bank Response

Just had a cc purchase denied due to 'fraud' alert. What!!??? When I called them it turns out that THEY have my zip code wrong. WOW. As I had used my driver's license to change my address I am aware that it was not my fault. And They seem to be quite clueless about pretty much everything.
