I can't believe how rude and disrespectful that **************** is in *********************************************. They are charging me $69.35 for something that has been resolved by their bank and by my bank, and I have complete proof of it, and even my bank has verified this resolution and they have proof. Hurts is such a beggar and they're coming after money, and it seems like they are so desperate, they threatened to take me to collections if I don't pay this amount and when I spoke with a Manager in the billing department in their customer service line, he was so rude and he kept talking over me. The hertz in ************, the manager had told me that I can dispute this charge with the bank, because it was made in error, so I did make that dispute and the Hertz bank approved this in October, and my dispute was sent in August. I can't believe that they are acting so ridiculous, and they are just being so rude to me. When I spoke with them again in November 1, after spending hours on the phone with the billing manager, as well as another agent, I was told that the case was escalated to a supervisor and the supervisor had zeroed out the balance, and I asked them if they are sure, and the agent said yes, and mind you this is over a recorded line, And I told them to send me a zero balance letter. They confirmed that they will send me this, but when I called back on Tuesday to check on the status of that letter, the agent and the supervisor said no there's no such thing as a zero balance, and I still owe $69.35!! I kept telling them that I have proof that it's been zeroed out, but yet they keep insisting that I have to pay this erroneous amount, which is absolutely not correct,I would never ever recommend going to rent a car from Hertz because they will just rip you off and collect money from you. That is not supposed to be. They had the worst **************** and the longest **************** line. It's the worst business! Especially that they threatened to send me to collections!!!

************** I rented and paid $231.45 for an EV vehicle through Hertz website. My husband and I are both Gold Members. Hertz sent a confirmation email and EV rental instructions sent 24 hours before my rental was to commence. I arrived from the airport to Hertz in ************. We are familiar with this location as we have rented here *****X over the past year and a half for usually a week at a time. We are usually assisted by Jasmine or **** at this location and they are aware that we are out there to see my father who lives 3 hours away and is in end-stage cancer. Unfortunately, this time we were greeted by a new agent who informed me that although I had a confirmation and fully-paid rental, they did not have the vehicle for me! The agent's solution was for me to either cancel my rental (and be stranded there) or she could rent me a more expensive gas vehicle at $481.46. With my father in the hospital, a 3-hour drive ahead of me, and/or being stranded, there was no choice but to take the more expensive car. After this unfortunate encounter, I have attempted to have contact someone at Hertz corporate about the situation, but it has been fruitless as the phone numbers given are not available to address this situation. Their provided emails/contact forms go unanswered and have merely proved further frustration and no solution. Interestingly, in reviewing this location's "reviews" on social media, it appears that this location has several complaints of **************** This needs to be stopped so I now reach out to BBB for assistance.

On November 7th, 2023, we made a transaction of $231.85 with a business that promised to provide us with a non-defective electric car. Unfortunately, the car they gave us was faulty and they were not able to exchange it. They promised to refund the full amount but failed to do so despite our efforts to resolve the issue. As a result, we had to dispute the transaction directly with the bank. To make matters worse, we have been receiving bills from Hertz. When we contacted them, their employee advised us to ignore the invoice. However, during our last call with their employees, and a Manager, they harassed and threatened us and informed us that they had forwarded the bill to a collection agency instead of providing a resolution. The document reference number for this issue is K66710545F4 and the case number is ********. The problem with the car is a faulty frunk (front trunk) actuator.
