            Had Luxury Vinyl Planking installed by Green Bay Remodeling ****January 2023 ********************* production manager Elad Batito Southbay ***** Manager Immediately and over time noticed Bowing and Buckling (bubble) seams getting exposed on Buckling Brought to attention of company- they said their installers had never had this problem I did internet search found possible causes/solution Material not installed to manufacture specifications- not enough cut back along borders to allow for expansion and contraction Floor not leveled properly Not Tempered properly told GreenBay installers to check with documents provided by manufacturer They came back to do TEST Removed Baseboards Roto instrument cut edging to specs They instructed us to crank heat up for 4-5 days We reported back that Test had Failed Installer ***** and ***** said they did not what would be next step I then directly contacted Floor and ************* who sold the Material Their suggestion was to get a INDEPENDENT CERTIFIED FLOORING INSPECTORS REPORT FLOORING FORENSICS-************************* Did test on June 6 2023 with *****(one of the installers) present ********************* project manager was invited to be there - he did not come Results were mailed Emailed 6/14 Results concluded the issue was not the product But the Installation and that the only course of action is Complete replacementA second Certified Inspection 7/6/23 INSPECTION SOLUTIONS ***************** Concluded issue is installation and Not Product related results sent to ALON 7/18/23 CFL the manufacturer sent statement > per the inspection reports provided the issues are not manufacturing related >The issues were found to be install related from both reports Failure to follow the provided guidelines compromised the structural integrity of the flooring and Voids the Product WARRANTY Green Bay Remodeling *** Has Refused to acknowledge And has yet to make good Baseboards have yet to be replaced Limiting our use and enjoyment of our home
