They failed to submit my tax extension for 2021. And they still charge me 75 dollars for this. I paid 150 dollars for this service. IRS did not receive any extension filing from this company for me. And this business only refund me 75 dollars. I want fully refund. I talked to their boss, but he rejected to refund my money fully.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/04/11) */ Contact Name and Title: **** ********** Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: ************************ I am the accountant in charge of **. **** ***'s case. I was asked by **. *** to file extension **** on March 9th, 2020 for two of his companies: Boya Holidays and Boya Trans.I filed extension electronically for **** Holiday on March 15th, 2020 through Drake system by the same procedure as all other clients. (see ********** 1). ************** the extension request was rejected by IRS because a duplicate return had already been filed. The client asked me to provide supporting documents (see attachment) that proved I had done our job and I did accordingly. I contacted Drake to pull acknowledgement status report on March 16th, which is already beyond our normal duties and I kindly offer this extra service to this client. One colleague even kindly enough to have spent the whole day calling ***** in order to seek evidence and avoid penalties of late filing. Finally, **. *** himself notified us via telephone that his prior CPA had already filed extension without his consent on March 10th. I wouldn't have known this detail without **. ***'s telephone notification and couldn't provide any evidence as it is over the phone. I have exhausted all our efforts and means to provide necessary service trying to file extension for this client. In addition, I refunded the full $75 to this client for BOYA Trans which I have not yet filed extension because the due date for this company is April 15th. (see attachment 3) I believe that this client should seek compensation to his prior CPA for filing extension without his consent, rather than going after us who have already provided all necessary services and even kindly enough go beyond basic service. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/04/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My privously accountant did extension job for me. That is the reason why they submitted unsuccessfully. So they didn't finished the job. That is the reason Why I want my 75 dollars back. This is no way to cost me 75 dollars for unsuccessfully extension service. This is fraud.
