Purchased 3 goats in total February 24 the first goat died 10 days after the goat was limping & we were told by the staff member ***** the goat had been fighting with another goat but was fine. Not true. The goat had an infection per the veterinarian. 2nd goat was producing a lot of saliva, on the second day the 26 of February we were told she was almost going to give birth but died also now the last goat we have has a prolapsed uterus & is very old when we were told she was a young healthy goat. I called 3 times & left several messages with no return call until I posted my review with proof on their FB page I was then contacted by ****** Drake the owner using profanity & insulting me due to my review I explained to him what we were told by his staff. My *********** paid a total of $1,550 for all three goats. I asked ****** to please provide me with the history of those goats since he claimed to be a veterinarian himself of which he has not. Ive posted all my proof via their ******** page to no avail. Hes claiming he wants to make it right yet refuses an actual solution. Id like the records/ History of those goats especially if hes claiming he scrapie certified their has to be a paper trail of their history it makes no sense as to why they died unless he sold them to us knowing they were already sick.Business response

I returned her call when she slandered us on ******** reviews saving we sold her sick goats. I called her to discuss this and she got mad because my goal was to help the remaining goat she claimed had a prolapsed uterus. I am a licensed Veterinarian who has 24 years of experience and I could have helped the goat and wanted to for free but she didn't want my help, she just wanted money. she hung up on me and then refused to answer the phone. She then sent my wife telling her I was "The most uneducated so called veterinarian" and later in the message "the most absolute rude educated imbecile". So you know we tried to call her she just refused help for the goat. She is on a path to get money and that is it.
As for us lying to her, my employees who sold her the goats said they explained to her that he goats were old in age. This is reflected in the price she paid. The older pregnant goats are $500 each, Younger pregnant goats sell for $700 and $800. So she paid the right price for what we sold her. She actually wasn't the person who bought the goats, it was her husband and one employee remembered her telling her husband, "do whatever you want". So he chose to purchase the goats and she must not have been good with that.
I am upset with her because obviously if you buy three goats and you mange to kill all three of them then you are doing something wrong. A picture is worth a thousand words, Her pictures show my large well grown dead goats in a pen with no bedding on the ground, no wasted feed on the ground and the only feed in the pictures is being rapidly consumed by 5 goats with heads buried in the feeder. The five goats look unthrifty with rough hair coats and look stunted in size. This is my expert opinion as a goat breeder for 40 years and as a licensed, Veterinarian with 24 years of private practice experience. She said I was upset with her and I am upset with her for killing my goats. 3 out of 3 dead within a month. As for pre-existing conditions, they were old but they were healthy. They were all ultrasound confirmed pregnant, unhealthy goats do not get pregnant and all three of these were pregnant. In addition all three of these goats were old and had survived many years in a large commercial dairy herd on my farm so they were not weak individuals. I only was selling goats because our cheese sales went down and we had to reduce our herd. I wish she had never bought the goats and killed them with neglect.
I have tried to call her three additional times, I really wanted to help save the last goat, but she wouldn't not pick up the phone or return my phone call. I know she got at least one of my messages because she put a transcript of it on face book and it cuts off with me stating "I really wanna try" If she had continued it would have said I really want to try to help save the last goats please call me so I can come and help the goat. There is a shortage of veterinarians who work on livestock but I am one and I would have helped save the goat but she didn't even give me that chance She is a horrible person who should not have livestock.
So in summary
She didn't buy the goats, it was her husband,
They paid the correct price for old goats
The goats were healthy when the left my farm. If they weren't they wouldn't have been pregnant. No one forced them to buy the goats if they didn't like them, them shouldn't have bought them.
I did call and try to resolve the issue, She refused to let me help save the last remaining goat and refused to return my phone calls, she has my personal cell phone. She has some other agenda and doesn't care about the goats.
The pictures she posted show an inadequate environment for goats to live happy and healthy. I think they are starving their goats, This is my professional opinion with many years of experience.
I will not be refunding her money for killing my goats. I think this is the only outcome she wants as she lists "billing adjustment" we don't "bill" for livestock sales for this reason, it is cash and carry and you better take care or your livestock if you want them to live. This is the industry standard for livestock sales, previous owners cannot be responsible for animals for days after they leave our care. I have sold thousands of goats to many happy customers. I wish that she would have never come to my farm.

I am rejecting this response because:
He is lying regarding him wanting to actually help me save the last goat I said: you are welcomed to come to *********** & help her he said quote: No, its too far! his resolution was to tell me to fix her prolapsed uterus after the fact that I explained to him she had already seen a veterinarian & his findings were these goats were overworked & in fact sick. I even had a student vet from ******************* come out & do an assessment on these goats. She stated the same findings the veterinarian had already told us regarding the poor health on these goats example: An obese person is not healthy they are simply Fat *** refused to send me the history of these goats after I asked him & even posted my email on his ******** page I couldnt get them a history for proper care. What veterinarian refuse's a history on an animal if its being cared after ??? Yes, I feed my animals separately they are all different sizes. I would not return his calls because I answered him twice only to be insulted, yelled at & accused of again quote: What the f*** did you do to my goats?!?! So no, in my opinion he did not offer an actual solution & No we were never told these goats were old. His worker told us these goats were all young which in fact was not true. I never went after money I proved it I asked for a history on these animals I even offered when he stated he wanted to supposedly help the last one he come get her & refused claiming he is scrapie certified & is not allowed to do that. Therefor he left me no other option but to report my interaction with him. His employees failed to say I was the o e who pulled the money out of my purse & handed it to my husband for purchase. He has surveillance why not provide it ? Now Im being accused of stealing goats ??? I was contacted by ************************* regarding this & the officer asked me what the resolution was therefore Im here so No this is not about money its about doing the right thing. His employees lied to us regarding these animals. If hes offering $2,500 for stolen animals yet you cant refund or replace at least one animal? I offered to meet him half way & wouldnt even hear about it. I still have all the interaction I can gladly print it & mail it out to any address provided including messages of him acknowledging his rude & disrespectful profanity yet like a child apologized & cursed at me again so I opted to hang up for the 2nd time & refused to deal with him. That is when I reached out to his wife bring t she was the only empathetic one in that bunch. Yes, I feel some type of refund based on the interaction & outcome is fair & not all but some absolutely based on the lies & lack of willingness to provide us with propped information of which we were not. In my opinion based on my interaction with other vets A licensed veterinarian & business owner allegedly of 40 years doesnt have a paper trail/ medical history / inventory of his animals? He refuses to be wrong & did not offer an actual solution that is why I reached out to BBB. Thank you,
