Upon further research, I discovered the below article and learned that the product is not recommended to purify or clean air. *** report. - ******************************************************************************************************

    Hello,

This product using technology, which approved by ********************* almost 50 years ago. It was  sold around 100 million units using this technology and most of the customers likes this product very much. Every single person has a different reaction on ozone production, that why in modern purifiers, like AP300 have ozone production as an option. Ozone can be used for a limited time to remove any kind of smell, bad odor e.t.d. Even without odor purifier still cleaning the air, using negative ions technology, which  help you to reduces dust, dust mites, pet dander, pollen, or any other pollutant.

There is nothing wrong with this product, it just not a 100% customers likes it, but that applies to many types of products.

          Best regards, Alpine Air.

I am rejecting this response because:

The company states they rely on 50+ year old data and does not acknowledge the newest research that demonstrates ozone creation is harmful to one's health. Their product cannot even be sold in **********, where it is manufactured: ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************.

Existing ground level ozone, and creating it, is harmful to one's health and I experienced ******************* upon turning on the Alpine O3 generator such as what is described here:
