**Avoid PAG Auctions A Scam Operation** I recently participated in a PAG auction on the LiveAuctioneers platform, bidding on a sapphire, diamond, and white gold *******. The item was described in glowing terms and accompanied by high-quality photographs. The auction listing included an AIGL appraisal certificate valuing the piece at USD ******. Confident in the description, I successfully won the item for USD ***** (including buyers premium and shipping). What I received, however, was shocking and completely unacceptable. The ******* that arrived was a cheap imitation: - The "sapphires" are of such poor quality that they are opaque, almost black, and lack any transparency. - A diamond is missing, further attesting to its poor condition. - The craftsmanship is dreadful, with the clasp barely functional. Even to the naked eye, the piece is an obvious fake. Multiple professional jewelers who examined the ******* unanimously described it as low-quality, both in terms of the stones and the workmanship. When I demanded a return, PAG refused, claiming that the item they shipped matched the photographs and that the discrepancies were due to "special flash techniques" used for the images. This is a blatant misrepresentation. After reading reviews from other customers, it is clear that my experience is not an isolated case. Many others have reported similar issues, where items they received did not match descriptions or photos. **My advice to anyone considering PAG Auctions: Avoid them at all costs.** They appear to be scammers using internet plattforms to cheat potential *****.

If I could I would give them zero stars. Very unethical selling practices.

I purchased 3 rings from them at auction. All were presented to be natural stone. I had the ******* and sapphire evaluated and the sapphire was determined to be lab grown...not natural. The ******* was natural. They were presented an opportunity refund the full purchase price ($3480) and they would only refund a $2000 and their "appraisal" was upward of $12,000. It would seem like with that kind of appraisal, they would GLADLY refund the full purchase price. They offered to replace the stone but I have no confidence in the quality or reliability of them doing so with a same size and quality of what was presented in the original presentation for sale. They have evaporated all trust and confidence in their business, Prestige Auction Galleries located in Woodland Hills, **. BUYER BEWARE. The rings were purchased in April of 2023 and just recently (Jan 03, ****) was it found out that the sapphire was lab grown and not natural. In conversations, the dealer kept saying that it has been over a year and i keep correcting him. In my opinion, they have VERY poor customer service and do not fully stand behind their products. Please be wary with any and all transactions with this business.
