    Today (December 2, 2022) I received a sales calls from one of their telemarketers. He asked to speak to the "decision maker" of the company. Being a small locally owned company means each employee wears several hats so I was trying to get specifics about what he needed. He made it sound like there was an impending collection against us so I asked for his company name to look up their history in our system. He then stated that they don't have an account with us so I asked for more specifics. Finally got out of him that he's selling their debt collection service to us. He asked if any companies have outstanding debts with us, I said no. I said that signing up for a collection service really wasn't up my alley but I'd be glad to give him the email address to our president. He got mad and angrily said "well it SHOULD be *************" to me then hung up. Based on this call alone I can determine this company is GARBAGE and will not deliver on what ever they are selling. Based on the other complaints I can see this opinion of mine is accurate.

    Please be advised Century Debt Solutions takes every step to ensure a pleasant experience for our customers. This call was reviewed and found no "angry" comments were made by our employee. They conducted themselves respectfully the entire time. We apologize to this individual if they didn't feel the conversation was handled to their liking.

    I take care to be kind to people making sales calls. They're at work and trying to make a living. I have never understood why someone would be rude to a sales person. That said I was taken aback by the rudeness of the sales caller at then end when I was trying to access his needs (what department he needed to speak to). You can tell me he wasn't rude but the fact that it drove me to report the company to BBB when I have better things to do with my time, should be enough to know the truth. Furthermore it seems a lot of people complain about this company with a simple ****** search.

    Please be advised our office strongly believes in customer service/satisfaction and would never tolerate such an occurrence. Based on this allegation, our company reviewed the recording of the call and did not find any rude tone used by our employees. We apologize if this person feels that one was used. Either way our company has blocked her number from our dialing system so no further contact will ever be made.

    I was contacted last Friday and the company ********** me with fraud charges, that were completely wrong a d said I would be taken to court if I didn't pay they called nonstop until I broke and agreed to pay a doubled amount of what I actually owed so they wouldn't put a ******* on me with the police department. They also refused to give me a address or any documentation about the payment I made and the plan I had to set up and agree to or they said I would have some kind of contact or pick up thing from the police department

It seems like this individual has the wrong company as our office never contacted the number listed. Please do not allow this to post as this is an unwarranted claim. Our office has also blocked the phone number listed above from our phone system so there will be no possible way this individual will ever be contacted by our office in the future.

    This letter is prepared in response to the above referenced BBB consumer complaint. Century Debt Solutions, Inc. offers a preliminary no recovery, no fee contingency service to its clients for standard collection non-litigation claims only. In this instance, our client chose to proceed with paying an optional non-refundable forwarding fee to Century Debt Solutions, Inc. in order to escalate this claim to one of our networked attorneys for the purpose of legal action. The claim was promptly forwarded to a receiving attorney who began the legal demand period to start the litigation process.
    During this time, our records show the judgment obtained by the client before being submitted to our office was vacated based on service not being perfected when the client initially filed for judgment. This caused our offices to refile suit in the current state the debtor was residing in being ********. (Case number 20-CI-00925 in ************************). This case in ******** subsequently was dismissed based on the vacated judgment still being active in the ****************. Our offices then instructed the attorney to re-serve the original case filed from *******. The debtor then filed a motion to dismiss the judgment which was granted. Our offices are currently in the process of having the case re-submitted to file suit again. Please also note that the initial judgement filed by the client was for $12,933.86 as the client chose to file suit in smalls claims court. Our office is attempting to obtain a judgment now for $74,520 within the proper courts that this case needs to be filed in.
    This BBB complaint comes to us as premature especially considering the work we have to have re-done along with setbacks due to the pandemic and courts being shut down. Our office is still making attempts to recover the funds owed to our client and as such this complaint is unwarranted. Furthermore, Century Debt Solutions, Inc. is not a guarantor of any specific result on accounts placed by our clients.
