    Kennedy Plumbing installed a damaged bathroom tub safety bar August 16, 2023 - I telephoned him about this, he stated he would order a replacement and it would come to my home - I never received the bar, never heard from him. I telephoned him about three times, left a message each time, never got a call. Now he has submitted a lien for $436.00 - the bar charge was $400.00. I called him - no response. So I e-mailed him - he e-mailed me saying I did'nt pay him a dime for this bar that's why he submitted this lien -- my question is, how does this work?

    We installed a grab bar. A month later the customer said there was a **** on it. She has never paid her bill. So I have no recourse after two months to file a lien against her home. Its obvious she had been using it and just looking for excuses not to pay her bill. Very sad that she ordered something and cant afford to pay for it. But Hod bless her.

    Kennedy Plumbing came to my home from  my request from a Web site for help with installing  a safety bathroom bar - he quoted the $400.00 to install a safety bar; the man that installed the bar did not say anything to me - he installed the bar and sort of hurried out the front door without saying a word - I look at the bar saw it had  a scratch about 2-3 inches - I called the company - he said "I  will have  a new bar sent to your house, call me when it comes and we will install it  for free" I did not take this as I won't have to pay the $400.00, I understood that it would be new bar; I waited and waited for this bar to arrive, it did not.  I called Mr *********************** I never talked to him,  his answering machine said to leave a message, I called left two more messages, I never heard from Kennedy Plumbering  until this lien letter.

    Kennedy Plumbing  is lying when he said I used the safety bar for a month before I contacted him about the scratched bar -- I did  call him right away, he said he would send a replacement  bar to my home and to let him know when it came, and he would install ***********.  The bar never came, I called and left messages but He never responded.  I started  to realize that he was trouble -- I called twice again, he never responded, until this lien for $436.00 on my home.  My messages to him when I called was I would pay him but I wanted a response from him of why he did not follow through on replacing the bar; I was resigned to use the scratched bar, with a discount  on the $400.00 original cost he charged, he is being condescending  that I cannot pay $400.00 and that is why I am filing this complaint.  I want this resolved, but I know he is a jerk, so he trying to say I am the one at fault.

    ********************* has the bar installed. She is using it. She has not and can not pay her bill. I will file the Lien on her property as she has the intent to file lien. I will earn 8 percent on the lien per the law. End of story. She has used another business for her profit. Very said human. Please do not contact me again about this miscarriage and abuse.

    I can pay the $400.00 for the bathroom safety bar, but, my point in all this is it was scratched  and Kennedy Plumbing, after I told him this said they would replace the scratched bar.

    I am rejecting this response because:    The Bathroom bar was scratched. Kennedy Plumbing knows this.   He needs to replace the bar he also knows this.  He can give me a discount if he cannot get a new bar he also knows this.

    I have read other complaints on this Kennedy Plumbing -- My thoughts are, I must resolve this somehow.  Other people, like him, others have had bad experiences, like I have.  I am wondering if I am giving in to a bad Company, if I pay, or do I have any alternative.  I am a senior citizen, which says I am from a era of believing a person when they say they going to do something, and yet never intend to do it.  I  know BBB can do  just  a limited action, and I know he  (Kennedy)  has  experienced *****************'s why he put a lein on my  house  -- he never intended to replace the safety bar that was damaged in my bathroom.     Thank you for contacting me and your time
