            On April 4th I met with ****** at LoVerdi Tax Services and provided her with original tax documents for my 2022 taxes, my deceased mothers 2021 taxes, and estate taxes for 2022. During the process of completing the filing online I became ill and had to leave. For reference I had undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery for cancer in the previous year and a heart procedure in the previous month. There were a lot of tax documents that I had forgotten to bring and had to send later so she could not have completed them that day anyway. I provided the required documents to her on April 10th and 11th via text message. When I left the office it was with the understanding that she would complete all three returns in a timely manner but file an extension since taxes were due in just a few days. I contacted her on April 30, May 5, 12, 24, 25, June 6, 20, 22 and July 10th asking for a status, whether she had filed an extension and finally to just return my documents. These contacts were in the form of emails, texts, and a phone call. The most Ive gotten from her is an assurance that she was working on them. The person who recommended her has also contacted her twice on my behalf and was told shed get them done. I dont have filed tax returns or my documents back. I have not been given a bill so there is no money involved except the penalties and interest Im accruing with the ****

            I had a family emergency that took me out of state and away from my business for several weeks.  I am a sole prop and was doing the best I could.

            Sent clients documents back to her Priority mail, shows to be delivered Tuesday 7/25/2023.  Emailed client in response to her email requesting documents, as well

            The original documents were sent back to me as requested. Depending on the penalties Im charged by the *** I may need to file a small claims court case.
