A salesman came to my door trying to sell pest control at night. I declined several times and he would not leave. I told him several times that I wanted to wait until my husband got home and he still would not leave. I was pressured into signing a contract otherwise he refused to leave. I emailed the business as soon as my husband got home an hour later to cancel the contract. The salesman and this company are very unprofessional and unethical.

We apologize that the customer felt pressured into signing an agreement.  We have addressed the situation with the 3rd party door to door marketing company to address with their staff to help prevent any similar circumstances and cancelled out the account as soon as we learned the consumer wanted to cancel first thing the next morning and prior to learning of the BBB complaint.  The cancellation request was handled swiftly and promptly without any issue and no funds were charged.  We wish the customer had simply mentioned something during the "Welcome out" call upon signing up or given us an opportunity to help them prior to initiating a complaint.  If the customer ever decides to use pest **********************, we'd be happy to help them out.

Aggressive and rude salesmen have been harassing our entire neighborhood slandering other pest control companies, not wearing any company logo-gear to identify themselves, not leaving when asked, walking through private properties, damaging garden beds, knocking/ringing homes after 8:30PM on school nights waking children and pets. Telling women to call their husbands so a man can make the decision and not them. These are just a few of the disgusting things these salesmen have been doing to harass our neighborhood. Several neighbors had to threaten to call the police to get them to leave. These people should absolutely not be entering private properties and harassing and intimidating people into buying their services.

I emailed ****** with the zip file of our Ring Security videos from this interaction. They are too large to upload be show clearly everything in the original complaint and that this is indeed Axiom dispite them claiming its was not their company. I also have attached the images from multiple people in our community complaining and confirming that it is Axiom.

First off, wanted to take a moment and apologize for any negative interactions that may have occurred on our behalf from our marketing partners.  We take these complaints seriously and strive to have 5-star interactions with our customers and prospective customers.  It's been one our recipes to success over the last 16 years with minimal BBB complaints or negative feedback.  It's rare to see a positive track by companies that include a door to door marketing model due to the competitive nature with many companies going around in hopes to win over the competition.  With that said, we truly do require a higher standard of our partners.  It's mutually beneficial for us as a company, them as our marketing partners, and for consumers.   As a family owned business local in the *****************, we're consumers too and have had our fair share of negative experiences over the years from various ***resentatives pushing their products or services and we simply do not want to be associated with that. We also know that sometimes the feedback is warranted and would love the opportunity to correct it through coaching and/or disciplinary actions.  However, far too often, we do not get the opportunity to do so and are simply lumped into the negative aspects within the industry - whether warranted or not.  The phone number and email associated with the complaint has never contacted us via phone or email.  We also do not have an address associated with the complaint to verify the veracity.

As resolution, we'd be happy to mark them on a do not knock list to avoid future contact since they are requesting no future contact with our business.

As for the details to this particular complaint, what was sent over was a zoomed in picture of someone holding our pricing sheet with logo on it, but no other video or pictures showing the *** or any of the supporting details of the complaint other than and a bunch of screenshots of their neighborhood chat showing frustration of pest control sales ***s going around.  The contents of that chat appeared that it was not just one company going around, but that at least one or more other companies were going around at the same time or at least in the day or two prior that left a bad impression that we were lumped into.  One comment stated that our sales *** apologized for who had stopped by previously after the commenter claimed that we had already stopped by.  We know that it was another company that had stopped by in that instance because of how our marketing operations work as only one sales *** was assigned to the area at the time.  It is not an effective marketing method to have multiple ***s from the same company knocking the same doors within the same few days or weeks of time as that can ruin the relationships and appointments the *** assigned would have built and set within the area.  It would be great if the footage of the *** who stopped by could be shared with us instead of just a screenshot of the video that has been zoomed as a picture where we cannot tell who stopped by.  It would also be fantastic if there were any other details that supports the complaint so that we can address with the particular *** who may have been guilty of bad actions.

We really try to do a great job with our service as well as marketing our services and have past on the info we have received to our marketing partners and *** in the area at the time as soon as we received it but have received the feedback that it may have been another company guilty of the actions.  The info and items provided appears to support that it may have been another company responsible for these actions.  Regardless, we are happy to add the customer to a do not knock list to avoid future interactions if they can provide their address since we currently do not have it.  Please give our office a call at ************ and we'd be happy to help further!
