Pioneer (Pioneer Landscaping or Pioneer Sand Company on ***********************************) provided me with a receipt for the delivery confirmation of 15 tons of Canyon Swirl xeriscaping rocks on Thursday, October 17. The receipt showed a total of $1,105.07 and included a breakdown of the delivery fee, sales tax, fuel surcharge, and delivery fee tax, with the rocks priced at $56.95 per ton. However, the total charged was different--$1,114.26. My bank contacted me on Friday morning to verify the charge. When the driver came to deliver the rocks to my front yard, he gave me a sales receipt/delivery ticket listing yet another total--$1,113.97. He explained that the weight slightly exceeded 15 tons, with the final weight being ***** tons. I called Pioneer to clarify, and they confirmed that $1,113.97 was the correct charge due to the extra weight. I was told that the charge shown on my credit card account-***************** be corrected to $1,113.97, but this was not the case, as the amount of $1,114.26 was settled on Saturday, October 19.Another disappointment was that some clumps of rocks remained stuck at the top near the right corner of the truck bed, even after the driver tried to shake them off. I estimate the weight of those clumps to be around 20 lbs. Since I was charged extra for slightly exceeding the 15-ton ***** I wanted to get every bit of what I paid for. Initially, I thought the business was okay, but now I'm disappointed that they did not follow through with the correction.

"Pioneer has been the absolute worst company to deal with when trying to spend money. As the purchasing agent for an HOA, we arranged weekly deliveries of 24 tons in a double load truck to cover 6 miles of neighborhood road. Their invoice specifically instructed us to send payment to ********, which we did. Because they had to 'track it down,' they removed our net 30 terms and demanded prepayment. When the check was brought to them today, they refused it, insisting on multiple individual checks instead. The process has been unnecessarily complicated, and we're now taking our business elsewhere. I highly recommend others do the same."

Bait and switch tactic What was seen in the display case and online photos is totally different from what you get However they have you sign an acknowledgment that you have read the fine print and yes the comment that there is filler in their product (30%)Just the fact that what you see is not what you get, you never see all that filler (sand and gravel) in the display

I ordered a max **** of **** tons of rock they only delivered **** tons. Now pioneer wants to charge me an additional $160 delivery fee to have the remaining 1 ton of rock delivered. Poor customer service and absolutely price gouging the customer by not fulfilling what they said could be delivered. Tried talking to the managers and they all could care less.

We ordered rock through a contractor. The wrong rock was supplied. Pioneer Manager, *****, declined to acknowledge a potential mistake or to come to the property to evaluate it. When we brought samples in, they identified one as the rock we ordered and the other as a different rock. When we brought this to management's attention, *****, said we never came in. When we showed them their employee's writing and signature on our sample bags they said she was not authorized to identify the rock samples despite the site manager asking her to do so in my presence. We were referred to customer service, ******, who also declined to acknowledge any possible wrong and was also unwilling to send someone to the site to evaluate the mistake. They offered us 1.5-ton of replacement rock as a consolation and said I (customer) needed to figure out how to get it moved. Poorest customer service ever.

Pioneers delivery truck completely destroyed my front yard and sprinklers system. Ive emailed and left voice messages but nobody from Pioneer has returned to me?? Ive just bought this house, checked the sprinklers, I was very happy that the yard looks good and I dont need to invite a gardener to take care about the loan. And now it all looks like a contraction sight ?????

I made a purchase over the phone and they never gave me receipt I called over a couple weeks and explained I was unable to pick up the pavers and when I called to talk to them about the material they said that it was my loss and they kept my money I asked for compensation they wouldn't compensate me I asked to talk to a manager they kept saying they would call me when I went in the people that work there were giving me information that I had nothing to do with me being very unprofessional I reached out to the management and they would not do nothing for me I asked for a corporate number and they wouldn't give it till this day I still hasn't got resolved I've been in there multiple times trying to get help and nobody has helped me! The location that did this to me is the one from ****** ******* on ***************

I am completely impressed by the customer service we experienced at the *******, Pioneer Sand Company. During or backyard renovation we installed **** square foot of turf and 45 tons of river rock. EVERY PERSON from Management, to sales associates, to schedulers, to delivery drivers were professional, helpful, kind, and courteous. In today's world you are lucky to find a glowing star in a company much less then entire staff. Thank you Pioneer Sand, *******, for employing and maintaining such a high quality staff that are trained, knowledgeable, and friendly.

My name is ************************* or Nez Landscape LLC I been waiting for small refund check and its been two months and to make matters worst they tell me other companies been waiting since September of 2021 for refund. Im from the *******, ** Pioneer Location
