            Very pleased with the work of Proud American, and I would contract with them again. Quality equipment installed in a professional manner on the fastest timeline allowed by all the permits, inspections and administrative approvals. They were very accommodating and responsive to my various questions and concerns. This was my third attempt at solar and Proud American was exactly the local electrical company I was looking for after dealing with larger, regional/national companies that seemed to sell financing first and then solar installation after the fact. Proud American clearly had more experience dealing with Colorado Springs Utilities and their their various requirements on solar installation.

            When looking for solar installation options, I had read a lot of negative reviews about many companies. I stumbled upon reviews for Proud American and was surprised they were positive. We had apprehensions about signing up for solar with a small company but the staff, including the owner, reassured us by having backup plans in case they ever went out of business (hopefully not). While considering our options, we never felt pressured by Proud American (something I cant say for some other vendors). Sealing the deal for me was the companys new solar panels line by ***********************, a company with ethical standards. Proud Americans process was a bit different from other companies wed talked to but we felt they were being honest and decided to sign. I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything went. The company truly believes in over-deliveringpanels were installed quickly, around our schedule, and without much fuss, and they passed inspection the first time around. We were hooked up and active in half the time I had anticipated (and half as long as other vendors promised). Icing on the cake was the availability to contact Proud American with any questions to which we got prompt responses. I am a happy customer and would 100% recommend to others!

            I chose "Proud American Electrical & Solar" for my solar installation (completed 2-Apr-2024, less than 6 weeks after contract signed). I've been VERY HAPPY with the entire process with them! When working with a vendor, good communications is a top priority for me. Any vendor can have problems, delays, etc. - I just want to be informed, without bogus excuses. ***** (the boss), **** (sales) and the installation team all did a great job from start to finish. They also accommodated me with a request for a minor hardware upgrade, and tolerated my asking a lot of techy questions. And everyone associated with the project is local (some solar companies are 'national', so they sub-contract everything. When there is a problem, they can 'point fingers' at the other subs...). Proud American is Highly recommended!

            Our new solar system is up and running and performing as promised. ***** and his crew have done an excellent job of designing/installing the system and I am very pleased that I selected this local business to do the work. There was additional work required on my installation as an older water-based solar system had to be removed prior to installing the new PV system. ***** coordinated all the subcontractors needed to complete the work and everything looks and performs great. I have every confidence in recommending Proud American ********************************* for any work you need accomplished.

            If you decide to go solar, Proud American is the way to go! They are local, very professional, responsive, and everyone I dealt with was incredibly courteous. ***** and **** did not try to oversell me, as another local company did. The system was designed extremely well, and the price was quite competitive. They were also very responsive when I requested that my service upgrade be installed before CSU gave PTO, and they rectified the meter height issue. As a retired engineer, I found their design and installation methods to be extremely impressive. Everything is neat and tidy, and passed inspection on the first go around. The system is generating the expected energy, as outlined on the proposal. What more could you ask for in a company! I plan on continuing to do business with them in the future.
