Not even 1 star... ************ needs to be shut down.. IMMEDIATELY... I rented a car for a week to see the birth of my grand baby out in ***********.. I go to pick up the car and the ***** IS REAL.... They want to see the proof of your FULL COVERAGE insurance. If not it a $40 extra charge on top of the $500 NON REFUNDED security deposit( some how i only received $222 back). I called my credit union and put a dispute on them and I will be call the airport and anybody else to let them know how it making the entire airport look.. Then after I'm on the phone with the guy and asking him about the charge.. bc my original week was 122. and some how the extra day was $287... So once I asked for corporate number he tells me .. We manage our own car lot... I saidddd yesssss I see.. A Fraudulent one.. then he hung up in my face... So now my ************ has put in a report about them.... I'm disgusted for even staying with them I should've followed the other 4 families back to the airport to another company... The black guy a the counter that bribe me to give him a good review for the FREE ($61 hidden charge) upgrade don't worry GOD DONT LIKE UGLY.... I was never giving nor email my contract.. but thank God I do online banking... there's so much I want to say but STAY AWAY FROM THEM....

They added a $500 charge as a "hold" - I return the car with no issue but the charge went all the way through and then they said they'd refund it in a week...they didn't and now I'm left having to pay for their mistake and incompetence. How is York Car Rentals allowed to operate in ******? After reading all the other negative reviews online, why haven't they been shut down already? ********************************************* ****************************************************************************

I would have felt better being robbed at gunpoint than to have dealt with a wolf in sheeps clothing like this. This company is fraudulent towards Colorado residents. I had my family walking down a busy highway searching for another car so that we could continue our vacation. Terrible terrible place to try and rent a car.

Worst business ever. I've never felt like my money was stolen more than this company and priceline. I booked my car rental from priceline and read through the terms and conditions stating unlimited mileage. I read through the first 2 or 3 paragraph in that section and thought I was covered unlimited mileage. However, SEVERAL paragraph below there's a section for local colorado residents and they have restrictions to 60 miles per day. Had I known that previously or anywhere else besides the fine print, I would not have booked it. After talking to the agent at the counter, he argued with me and told me I was already charged and if I don't take the car, I'll get charged anyway and I need to take this up with priceline. After speaking with priceline, for 3 days and 4 supervisors later, they told me even though it's difficult to find, it is in the rental policy. I think it's bull that everyone is expected to read through that and that one VERY IMPORTANT piece is only listed on that section way further down. It's almost as if York is hoping you won't find it, take the rental, and then priceline says they can't help you because the rental company has my money. They can only refund me if the rental company agrees and they will not. The only support is an email that takes 10 business days to answer so I get to live my life now feeling robbed by a small and big company.
