"We are sorry to hear that you were assessed a fee for roadside assistance. However, we can assure you this company did not asses that fee. Please contact the issuer of your card to obtain additional information for the MERCHANT who has imposed this fee to you. Although this company's name may appear, we are not the actual merchant who has assessed this fee; someone is using our company name. Based on information provided by others, the "scam" works like this:
Someone makes contact offering a service with a free 14 day trial. For trying the service you are told you will receive a free gift care (to a place of your choosing) ranging in value from $15.00 - $100.00 and they will send you a welcome packet in the mail. Unfortunately, you never revive the packet, but the "scammers" charge your card."
The company is requesting that consumers make them aware of their interactions and/or findings in these situations.
