I did 2 egg retrieval cycles with Kindbody. My first payment occurred on 5/1/2024, where I paid for genetic testing and the use of a Zymot device for fertilization. They billed my insurance for the first cycle. However, I received a bill for cyropreservation of embryos. I contacted billing several times and my insurance confirmed they never sent a claim to them to cover this cost (which they pre-approved to cover). I cannot get in contact with billing, they won't follow up with me, they just keep billing me. I did my second cycle and paid for genetic testing, the use of Zymot, and the use of calcium ionophore. I have the receipts and have shared the payment receipts with them several times. They have continually asked me to double pay. Billing is unreachable. Additionally, the care I received was unethical. They did not monitor me appropriately. They kept me on high dose stims for 4 days without monitoring me, and when I came in, my follicles were over 30mm. Any ** will tell you those eggs were overmature. Instead of canceling the cycle, they had me move forward. Made me do the injection again, and then doubled my trigger shot. When my eggs were overmature and bad quality, they blamed me. Said my egg quality is the issue, even though 2 months ago when I had my first cycle, embryologist said my eggs looked fine. I have never in my life seen anything this bad. Please investigate them. They are actively stealing money, running an extremely unorganized business, and they are not properly monitoring patients. Lastly, my second cycle did not result in any embryos, thus there was nothing to genetic test. As I paid for genetic testing in advance, I asked for a refund. They won't respond to me. Where did my money go? What did they do with it? I paid for a service I didn't receive, that's fine, so why aren't they giving me my money back? I am only requesting a refund on my second cycle with cost $2945 OOP. I will have my insurance investigate them too.

Kind body fertility sent a bill as of 7/15/24. On the invoice it says must be paid within 90 days. Second time calling in today 8/1/24 to pay the bill officially and they mentioned they closed the account and try to send to collections. This establishment claimed they sent emails and bills in the mail. This is the first bill received for ******. The invoice says it has 90 days to be paid right on the invoice. I will now tag the invoice now. The resolution I want is to pay the bill instead of them illegally send them to collections.

In January 2023, my employer added Kindbody as an option for fertility-related services. Consequently, I obtained authorization to purchase fertility medications through ********* Pharmacy. Per Kindbody, you can only use ********* Pharmacy for medications to be covered by Kindbody. To gather information about the medication costs, I contacted ********* Pharmacy. I discovered that one of the medications was significantly more expensive compared to my local fertility pharmacy, while the other one was fully covered by Kindbody per *********. Consequently, I placed an order for the latter medication through ********* Pharmacy, and it was promptly shipped to me the following day. However, a few months later, I received an unexpected bill from Kindbody amounting to $2000 for this medication. This came as a surprise to me since, according to Kindbody's brochure titled "Fertility Medication Overview," if you have any out-of-pocket costs they are supposed to contact you to discuss the costs and obtain credit card details to secure the delivery of the medications prior to any shipment. In my case:1) Kindbody never contacted me about the costs. Even when I've reached out to them to obtain the authorization for my medications 2) ***********'s Pharmacy, my medication was covered and they didn't need my credit card to ship the medications. 3) The medication was shipped to me without any indication that I would be billed at a later date. 3) I was never asked for the credit card by ********* pharmacy or Kindbody. ********* Pharmacy simply ships the medications, and you receive an unexpected bill months later. I believe this practice is deceptive, leading me to suspect that there might be a scam involved in using this particular pharmacy. if I knew about the costs, I would have used my local pharmacy and/or worked with my doctor to find an alternative medication.

I went to kindbody for a doctor visit and I gave them my health insurance card and they said that I am covered by my insurance so I went to my doctors appointment and they did lab work and that was on 3/30/2022 and then after a while kindbody sends me an invoice asking me to pay 290 dollars for the doctor visit but I called my health insurance company and they said that kindbody sent the wrong diagnosis code for the visit and I informed kindbody but until now they keep asking me to pay 290 dollars for the doctor visit and 470 dollars for the lab work and they are NOT resubmitting the claim with the correct diagnosis code. I do NOT have that kind of money and kindbody is committing fraud when they ask me to pay full price for the doctor visit of 290 dollars and 470 dollars for the lab work and I do have health insurance and they have my information and my insurance company information. They should resubmit all claims with the correct diagnosis code and reduce my balance to just my copay or a price that the insurance would pay and NOT full cash price since they never told me that services rendered wont be covered by my health insurance. They are committing Insurance FRAUD . The **** should be discounted to what my insurance would have paid them or my copay after they submit the correct diagnosis code to them ********** blue shield
