We really cant say enough about ****** ******* and the rest of the team. They added an over-sized garage, a large driveway, a laundry room, pantry, and home office as well as did some significant exterior upgrades. The whole process was wonderful. While nothing in construction seems to be cheap these days, I fully trust this team to give honest and fair prices while still ensuring the highest quality work. And, importantly, we paid the exact number that was given to us in the initial pre-construction phase unless we made a subsequent change/addition. The project was completed on schedule and as expected. All of the subs that showed up communicated how high the standards of professionalism and quality were expected of them by the team. Our property was considerately cared for and our space was respected by all of them, which was wonderful since we lived at the property during the entire construction. ***** and ****** do everything by the book, and you just dont have to worry about something going awry. Having been through some less than ideal prior experiences, this is a welcome changethe design, engineering, construction, and finishes were all vetted and guaranteed. Our project was finished about 7-8 months ago and weve had no surprises or problems except for 2 minor things: a garage door opener issue that they sent people to fix the next day and a cabinet door that broke from our dogthey fixed it free of cost. Through the whole process from start to finish they have been very responsive, very kind, and very good. In fact, we are still thinking and dreaming about a phase 2 (hopefully the last one) and there is no chance that we will go with anybody else. Im sure there are lots of great home remodel/new build companies out there, but Nickelson Construction is at the top of that list.

Nickelson did an amazing job from start to finish with our big kitchen remodel! Clear and timely communication was important to us, and everyone on the team was an excellent communicator. The budget and timeline were accurate, so there were no big surprises along the way. They set realistic expectations, were highly knowledgeable, and had very good attention to detail. I really have no complaints - any issues that arose were pretty minor and were promptly addressed. The quality of work is absolutely stellar. I would 100% recommend Nickelson for remodels and/or new builds; we hope to work with them again in the future!

We approached Nickelson Construction (**) with a variety of repairs and remodeling ideas for a newly purchased house. NC was able to undertake all our proposals under one project, which was both efficient and saved us a lot of headaches. ***** Nickelson helped with design to bring some of our vaguer ideas into focus and guide us to quality products to avoid decisions we would regret, all the while respecting our goals. Project manager ************************* was attentive to our concerns, a master of detail, and persistent in solving whatever problems arose. There was excellent collaboration between NC and other providers who were installing special equipment for us (e.g., FoCo Connection, Best Buy), ****** always making himself available for appointments for these additional installations. We were kept well informed of progress throughout the several months of this project through online tools and phone calls, which was a great help as we were monitoring the project remotely.I do not hesitate to recommend NC and would happily turn to them for future projects.

We chose Nickelson Construction for our 2021 home addition after interviewing and receiving estimates from over a dozen contractors. They weren’t the lowest estimate, but neither were they the highest. They won the job because their estimate was the most transparent and detailed, they were the best at communication, and they were willing to customize against our budget in an honest, thorough manner. From the first estimate, Isaac indicated that his goal was a limited number of change orders through the course of the project so that we stayed on budget. He knows what he’s doing because once all was said and done we only had a total of three minor change orders that were completely because of us as homeowners changing our minds on a feature. Even during a pandemic when labor and supplies were in short supply, the project stayed mostly on schedule and within budget. The quality of the workmanship was above reproach and, in the couple instances we asked for a rework or change, it was done without hesitation and to our satisfaction. We lived in our house with small children through the renovation and here are some highlights that made this possible: Great communication was maintained throughout the project, streamlined through a competent and thorough project manager. A consistent schedule was maintained and our own needs as homeowners were considered. The subcontractors that were brought onsite were professional and courteous. The jobsite was kept tidy and contained. Our furniture and belongings were taken care of respectfully We’ve been living in our addition for a year now so can attest to the completeness of the job and prompt attention to any of our post-construction inquiries. We will absolutely be working with Nickelson Construction again in the future!
