Eric was running early on the day of my appointment window of 4-6pm. So, at 3:30pm he got started. He was more thorough than my last provider and more thorough than many providers that I have worked with. He explained what he was doing to me without compromising his workflow. He answered all of my questions and it was clear to me that he was very knowledgeable. He spent an hour and a half and took apart the condenser enclosure wall and checked all the wiring and used a chemical agent to clean the coils. I had never seen that be used before. He literally made the air conditioning condenser look like a new unit? He answered questions about filter changes, freon, etc.. He was very professional and thoughtful. For 20 years I was a commercial real estate broker and property manager and managed a significant remodel of several commercial buildings. I have worked with more sub-par HVAC technicians than I wish to recall. I wish I could take Eric in a time machine to the past when I needed him. It would have made my professional life so much better. Thanks, Eric!

Not only was he knowledgeable, but had a cheerful, 'can do' attitude while trouble shooting the issues we were facing. Several weeks ago, my basement flooded due to failure of a water tank (not installed by FCH&A). This event made me reevaluate all of the HVAC equipment in my home. Although my furnace was still working, it was “circling the drain” at ~17 years old and the addition of central a/c was a no-brainer. The scope of work included installation of two-stage high efficiency ****** furnace and a/c, as well as a ******** ***** water heater. I chose FCH&A based on my experience with their service techs through the years and their reputation for technical expertise with installations. I knew the unique challenges of my 97-year-old house would complicate the installation and perhaps break the spirit of even the most experienced techs. Kevin and Nick rose to the challenge and exceeded my expectations to bringing this equipment to life. Kevin discussed modifications to the exterior of the house and existing duct work that were necessary in order to complete the installation. He walked me through how to use the new thermostat, change furnace filter (it’s fancy with tracks that must line up) and explained how he wired the condensate pump to automatically shut the furnace and a/c off in the event of a pump failure. Rather than bust through plaster or drill holes in the original trim, Kevin took the time to carefully remove the trim so that the wiring could be fished from the basement to the thermostat upstairs. Thank you so much, Kevin and Nick!! Glenn reached out during the course of the work and went above and beyond what I expected from a CEO. He made sure I was getting what I needed and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. Without his help, I would not have been able to find an electrician in time to upgrade the panel for the a/c installation. As the installation day quickly approached, I felt more and more confident I made the right choice with FCH&A. Their extraordinary business model gives me peace-of-mindthat I made the right choice.

Pat began with analysis of our system, then gave us detailed breakdown of costs. He then spent the whole day cleaning all the debris left in our system during construction. Finally took pix of before and after of the ducts. Now wonder we were having periodic sneezing fits, coinciding with the furnace blowing this dust-laden air from the nearby vent. It also explains the powdery layer that leaves smudges on our clothes in the closet -- it was sheetrock dust! We have already told 2 neighbors about this. Since all our development was built at the same time, they all probably need a cleaning, too. Patrick is the guy to do the job!
