They allow maintenance to walk into peoples apartments without permission. If they knock and you dont answer (maybe cause you arent dressed) they will just walk in and yell maintenance as if that makes it any better. They shut off the water without warning on occasion which has caused me to miss work (couldnt get ready). The way they talk to tenants through letters and other forms of communication is rude and condescending for no reason. They expect tenants to spend their own money to get carpets professionally cleaned before moving, which is the apartments responsibility, not the tenants. I understand cleaning up before moving but to expect tenants to use their own money to get carpets professionally cleaned is unprofessional. These are just a few things amongst many others that make me feel uneasy about this business. Please do better :)Review from Lu S

My daughter rented from this company. The place was a pit when she moved in, mold in bathroom, screens off windows, nasty carpet, grimy walls. When she moved out even though she left NOTHING and cleaned the bathroom and her room exceptionally well (left it better than it was when she moved in). They charged her for "overflowing the dumpster", the screen that was never put on her window, and for cleaning. We wrote to the owner to dispute the amount taken from her security deposit. It took the owner 4 months to respond. The home should be torn down it's so disgusting! I would NEVER EVER LET HER OR ANYONE I KNOW RENT FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!! Rent Amt for two areas (split upstairs and downstairs) 7 ppl living in home each paying $400! ROBERY at it's best! I'd give zero stars but you can't!

It has been almost a year of going back and forth with this parent. My tenants (her daughter included) were not this way regarding their deposit returns and were very happy while living in the house as well. I personally go out of my way to make sure my tenants are treated great and that they are content with their rental home. This parent on the other hand has done the complete opposite. We are not going to go further into this with her as she has been nothing but rude and disrespectful in her communications with the leasing office and towards the owner. All items charged were fair and have reasoning behind them. We will no longer be responding to her disrespectful comments. All roommates I spoke to were understanding of any charges that did come out and as far as the dumpster goes, all move outs were charged equally a small amount as we do not know who dumped items and who did not. (Extremely overfilled and surrounding both dumpsters). I was glad to have the girls in the house for over 2 years because they were always so kind to the staff at Woody Investments and they kept their house so neat and tidy. I wish the best for them in their future endeavors and if they ever need anything from us, we are more than happy to help.Review from Douglas E.

I have been renting with Woody Investments for a little over 2 years. My lease is coming to an end soon and I would have renewed for another had I not found another apartment I just couldn’t pass up. My experience has been mostly pleasant. I know I was paying a reasonable amount for rent, and yes the building may need some updating, but it was a safe, warm place to live. Parking can be a hassle but it is what it is. If I had an issue, it was easy to contact them and Lisa/Krista in the office were always kind and considerate. I had covid and needed a few extra days to pay rent and had contacted them. They are understanding and kind. I just wish my neighbors would have more respect for the property. It may be a rental, but leaving trash all over just makes everyone upset. Overall, I recommend woody investments.
