  Dixie installed a new water heater/boiler system in our cabin earlier this year. We closed on the cabin May 2nd and were told there was a one year warranty on the installation. At the beginning of September another plumber was in our house for a water leak from our dishwasher and saw that the pipe's Dixie had installed at the water heater was leaking glycol. I had two plumbers come out who both said the installation was done completely wrong and that is why we have leaks and the system is not functioning correctly. I called, emailed, texted Dixie and then two days later, their phones were disconnected. Someone that knows them personally tracked them down and told them, and they said they would call me to get it resolved, but they never did. Because winter is quickly approaching there, we are having to pay another plumber $7,000 to completely un-install the heater/boiler that was done incorrectly and re-do the entire installation correctly.

  I contacted Dixie Plumbing in Fairplay , Co. on July 19, 8:42 AM 2022 to see if they could fix two leaky outside faucets and possible another job in the near future when I remodel. Dixie Plumbing (Jason G********* /owner) replied and said yes and he could do it the following day. Mr. G********* also ask for my email address so he could send an estimate and invoice. I gave him my address. That day and the next morning ( wed. July 20, 8:16 AM) I never received an estimate so I sent Mr. G********* a picture of the faucets that need repaired hoping to give Mr. G********* an idea of what to charge so I could get an estimate. No reply from Mr. G*********. Around 12 pm that afternoon two of Mr.G*********s employees showed up to do the job. ( I myself was not at the residence however my Girlfriend and her friend were there.) The two young men did the job in about an hours time. At that time my girlfriend tried to pay them and there response was they didn't know what to charge and would have there boss send an invoice. Invoice 463 was sent to me at 3:07pm the following day 7/21/22. The total invoice charge was $600.00 . The break down in the invoice was $120.00 per hour for labor x two hours. $ 180.00 for parts and $180.00 for drive time to the job. My dispute with this invoice is the drive time and the hours of work. Mr. G********* web site (http://www.dixieplumbingservice.com/) states there address is Fairplay co. and "best in town". Fairplay to Alma in which I live is only 5.5 miles. To charge $180.00 is completely an unfair charge. Also the employees of Mr. G********* were only there for an hour so charging for 2 hours is an dishonest charge. I am asking to pay $180.00 in labor which is 1.5 hours and the original charge for parts $ 180.00 for a total of $ $360.00. I believe $180.00 for drive time should dropped for two reason. One Dixie Pluming advertises that They are in Fairplay and 2. that there should of been some kind of estimate showing this cost up front.
