A brand new furnace was installed in our home two years ago. The furnace was apparently completely wrong and now our furnace has burned up in two years. We had a terrible time with the installation and I could not get them to come fix it. This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with and Im in real estate.

June 10 installed a brand new a/c unit per our home warranty contract and the unit motor immediately didnt work. Came and replaced it and noticed a very loud noise coming from the unit but they wouldnt address is then. Compressor goes out on this NEW unit one month later with >90 degree days. Called them back and they said they closed the ticket and wouldnt come service or replace the unit that never worked correctly from Day 1. Now we are fighting with them and the home warranty company for the past week with still no resolution and no a/c. When you try and get in touch with the company- they will only accept text messages and wont return them. My home warranty company cant even get in touch with them to resolve this I would like them to make this right. This a/c was a lemon and they knew so. We would like a NEW (functioning) a/c. It is HOT in ******** right now and we have a family of seven with children, and elderly woman and pets. This is NOT acceptable

As much as we can appreciate the frustration of this customer, sometimes new equipment is faulty.  The contract the customer holds with their home warranty company notes a 30 day recall period.  Because the equipment failure was reported more than 30 days after install, the customer has to have a new ticket.  This is not our policy, this is the contract with the warranty company that covers the customers home. To add fuel to this fire, It is always a bit difficult when dealing with a manufacturer warranty and does take a bit of time.  We are in continual communication with the customer and the warranty company as we resolve this matter.  We have an install of a new compressor set up for 8/10.  The appointment is confirmed and there will be no charge to the customer for this equipment replacement.

    Thank You

We contacted our home warranty company on 10/4/22 about a concern we had regarding the draining in our furnace. They scheduled an appointment with C&R repair on 10/5 at 10am MST. ****, one of the managers for C&R inspected a repair that had been done by a different company for the home warranty, and confirmed the repair was not done correctly. He could not get the part so told the home warranty the furnace should be replaced. (Prior to this, it should be noted I had *** come to inspect the repair because I was skeptical of the work and the repair person and they confirmed it was not a good repair). The furnace was installed by C&R repair on 10/31. After meeting with *** on 12/2 for some electrical work, I became more concerned about the furnace repair. *** told me a permit should have been pulled which I was not aware of, and they told me the kink in our drain should be reexamined. Because I was worried about the quality of work done by C&R, I had *** do an inspection on the furnace. On 12/7 an inspection was done and immediate repairs were found costing $1,856 and recommended additional repairs of $1,097. I reached out to C&R for a permit in the meantime, and cannot get them to return my calls, they said they would send the permit on 12/5 and have not sent anything. The calls I have placed go straight to voicemail. The *** repairman told me today that when he cut into the pipe for the Carbon Monoxide, it was not even glued at the joints and the pipes fell apart. If it had shifted, our house would have been filled with Carbon monoxide. This company has similar complaints on Yelp, and seems to be extremely unsafe. I can provide texts, emails, exchanges and the workup provided by *** Plumbing, Heating and Electrical, which is an excellent company. I am acquiring additional info from *** on the repairs that were done today and can supply those at a later date.

Through AHS, I had C&R come and make a repair to my HV** when the inducer blower wheel started to separate. After several weeks of no ** and letting them know what parts were needed from day one, a tech finally came and installed the new blower wheel. After he left, when the the ** unit was running, I could hear a knocking sound so I opened up the panel. The capacitor was just hanging by the wiring due to the orientation of the motor being installed incorrect and the capacitor would not reach back to the holder due to the length of the wires. I contacted C&R and they sent some out again to fix it, I was expecting that they would turn the orientation of the motor and install it properly. I was told it was done properly and I didn't verify. Now that its colder and the the furnace is running, it seemed like we weren't getting enough heat. I opened the panel up again, compared the motor leads to what is shown in the Carrier manual and the motor is wired in wrong for heat. Even worse the other motor leads for the speed that should be used had been cut and used as jumpers for the capacitors wires rather than being terminated on the spare slots as before.Pretty disappointing to see the shortcuts taken and this is with 2 of their techs. Seems like a culture of just get the job done and not one of get the job done correctly.I expect that C&R Repair come finish the job to the proper standards any homeowner or HV** company should expect or we can discuss some of compensation/reimbursement if I have to get another company to fix their work especially if they can't complete the work in a timely manner.

I have texted *************** to see when he would be available to check his equipment out. Gave him options of 11/23 10-1 or 1-4 or if that doesn't work, gave options of 11/29-12/2/2022. Waiting for reply. We are sending our field manager out to check this situation out. This will be continued until resolved. We did not from  *************** after the tech was out there on 8/12/2022, so we assumed that repair was complete and working as it should be. Now that we know there is a problem, we will get it resolved.
