On September 17, 2024, I hired ****** ******* to trench a hole and install an inground trampoline. This trampoline is a custom order from ***** Inc., a high-end manufacturer known for their top-of-the-line products. My primary motivation for this installation was the safety of my children. I took on the responsibility for the rental equipment, which included an excavator from ***** ****** *******, and assumed all liability associated with it. Unfortunately, it became clear that ****** either lacked the necessary knowledge or patience to complete this job effectively. The retaining wall he constructed crumbled under the weight of the trampoline, damaging and bending its legs and misaligning the frame. When I approached him politely to discuss the damages, he responded with a verbal attack, using profanity and threatening to abandon the project. He adamantly refused to take responsibility for the damage he caused, as well as the significant mess he created while digging the hole and the debris he left from his other projects. My trampoline, which cost $1,998, is now completely destroyed. While it can still be jumped on, its structural integrity is gone.****** used corrugated steel to wrap around the trampoline, but he installed it with the jagged edges facing up against the side rails. He then placed a black tarp material over these dangerous edges and buried it into the ground. The trampoline is now uneven and crooked, with dirt piled excessively inside, and the jumping surface is loose beyond repair. and it’s very unsafe for children. He threatened not to return the equipment on time, effectively holding it hostage due to my well-articulated message expressing my discontent with his verbal abuse regarding the damage to my property. Despite being late, he ultimately returned the mini excavator to Black Canyon Rentals.

Tell us why here...In response to the complaint, on September 17th 2024, I went out to help a family friend dig a hole, wrap a trampoline with metal, put it in the hole, and back - fill it. This was a cash job that I did not run through my company Mineral Farms Builders LLC. I have text messages from Annie agreeing to everything including the $500 cash price before the job commenced and she payed me before I finished the job in cash. Any time I do a job for My Business, Mineral Farms Builders LLC. there is paperwork involved through quickbooks. I will send the potential client a bid through quickbooks that has the abillity to be e - signed by both the Client and I. If both parties agree with the terms then we both would sign the bid therefore making it a Contract between us. Those bids contain all of the details of the job from the deposit if there is one, to the final finishes of the job. I was simply trying to help out a friend that approched me in Church and we both verbally agreed on I would come help her out. When the job was completed she was unhappy with it and I offered her the $500 cash back and she refused a refund. I have text messages from Annie stating that she appriciated the work I put into the project and did not require a refund. the next morning I was dropping my children off at school and daycare and recieved a text message from Annie asking if I would return the Excavator she asked me to haul that was sitting on my trailer,  back to the rental company. I told her i had my children and I would get it there when I could. After dropping my children off I sent Annie a text message saying I was on my way and I went directly to the rental company and returned the equipment. I never had any ill intent in any way. I was simply trying to help a family friend out that my Wife, Kids, and I trully care about. We have always been there to help Annie in every way possible. Annie stated that she would keep our interactions that day private. Since then child services has been called on me and several people in our community and at church have came to my wife and I with rumors and gossip that has been spread by *** ******. Child Secvices found No evidence of me being a bad parent or an unsafe person. The trampoline had no safety net on it when I started the project. It was damaged prior to me ever arriving. I would be willing to turn the trampoline into insurance to see what they say, given *** ****** will stop all of the accusations and threats of a lawsuit.
