Apartment has had so many issues, my biggest issue is mold. They don't want to take care of us. They want to shove us out instead of letting us find a place and financially prepare for a move. Instead they are wanting us out in 20 days. I asked for 2 months This happened 10/11/2024 Mangers don't want to give us a month extra to move. That's all we are asking. Instead they just want to shove us out..

    Good Morning,

Our team never found mold in unit ****** which is where **** resides. When a resident claims they have mold, we send them a mold and mildew letter giving them the option to stay in their unit, transfer to a like unit, or move-out of the property without penalty. We send them this even if mold is not found; we did not find any mold in the unit. The letter was served on Monday, October 14th and we gave them until Friday, October 18th to let us know how they wanted to proceed. I then gave **** the option to move within 30 days which is a very appropriate time frame to find new housing if he should choose to move out of Regatta. I let **** know we could give him until November, 16th to move out of his apartment when we spoke on the phone yesterday. At this time, **** has not returned the mold and mildew letter presented to him with his decision on whether he wants to move or stay in his apartment. **** also stated he is sick more often than normal and he believes it is due to mold in the unit. Again, we did not find any mold in his unit, but why would he want to stay in the apartment for an additonal 60 days if he believes there is mold causing him sickness? We just want **** and his family to be comfortable in whichever direction they choose to take.

I am rejecting this response because:
They are not working with us. They don't care about my family or they would run a mold test. They never found mold because they never looked for it in the first place. I am adding a photo of the black mold we found behind our toilet. If they actually cared they would understand my finicial time frame. If they want to reimburse us a month so we can move out that would really show compassion and understanding because they don't want to be proactive about testing for mold. They don't care and they are not doing a good job and taking care of tenants.
    Sincerely,

    Gage Dehart

    Hello -

I have attached the mold and mildew letter we send to residents when they claim there is mold in their apartment. **** and ******* were offered to be let out of their lease without penalty and were given 30 days to move or offered to transfer to a like unit. **** and ******* decided to remain in their current unit. I have attached a copy of the mold and mildew letter with their signature. We will not be offering additional compensation. The mildew in the toilet was removed the same day it was reported.

    Thank you,

    Regatta Managment

You were given the option to move out without penalty, transfer to another unit on property, or stay in your current unit. If you would like to vacate your apartment without penalty, please let me know so we can discuss like we did previously.

We have been having issues with neighbors. In the lease it states quiet time is between 10pm to 10am. And we have neighbors all around us partying and doing drugs. Theres cars being broken into. We have advised the office several times about the people upstairs in ******. About there constant noise. Every day from 3am until 8 am there is partying theres music playing. There stomping. And we have told the office several times have emailed them of the noise. And NOTHING is being done. The office said they cant doing anything about it. When clearly its a lease violation! I have not had a good nights sleep in so long that its starting to affect my mental well being. I was advised by the ********** police department to make this complaint with the BBB. In hopes the office listens and takes actions.

    Good Morning -

I last communicated with this residents husband, *******, on September 10th, 2024. At that time, he said the noise had gotten better and he would inform us if it started again. We have not heard from him since. I can provide that email if needed as backup. This resident has called the police and Front Range Courtesy Patrol on several occasions. When they arrive, they cannot hear any noise. An unidentified female typically answers the door and states she is watching TV in her bedroom. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am daily. I have asked for footage of the noise on several occasions and cannot hear the noise in any of the videos provided. I have served several notices to the resident on the 2nd floor as well. At this time, without proof of this noise, there is nothing the office can legally do about the issue.

    Thank you,

    Hello -

We require a 60 day written notice from our residents when they plan on moving out. You did not provide your notice to vacate with a move-out date listed until 10/16/23. Per the lease, if we do not receive a 60-day notice, you will be charged a lack of notice fee which is $1850. I have attached a copy of your lease for review. You will find all of the information you need on page 3 of the lease.

    Thank you,

This is probably the 5th or 6th time (at least) this has been reported against our community and has been closed the BBB every time.  This is getting out of hand.  We no longer have the file as it has been sent to collections. You reported the incident to the leasing office. There was a firearm that was discharged in the apartment, and we were advised by our attorney that for the safety of the community you needed to be served a notice to quit.  You were given more than 3 days and you moved out prior to the notice to quit needing to be served to the courts.

Good Morning - this case has been opened up a few times now. This resident was served a notice to quit per our attorney for discharging his firearm in his apartment.
