During my stay from August 4th to August 5th, I encountered a series of troubling issues that warrant immediate attention: Unjust Smoking Fee: I was wrongly charged a $100 smoking fee, despite the fact that none of the individuals I was staying with smoke. This fee was levied without any valid evidence or basis. Dishonest Management: I experienced a distressing encounter with the management team, specifically with individuals named Rhonda and Chris. Their behavior was aggressive and off-putting when I attempted to discuss the additional charges. Faulty Room Amenities: Non-functioning Outlets: The room I stayed in had malfunctioning electrical outlets, which greatly inconvenienced me during my stay. Hygiene Issues: The shower drain was clogged with hair upon arrival, indicating a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. Unsanitary Bedding: The comforter provided in the room appeared to have never been washed, which is both unsanitary and unacceptable for a reputable establishment. These experiences have left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the quality of service and overall standards maintained by Rodeway Inn. I believe that it is crucial for establishments of this nature to uphold high standards of cleanliness, customer service, and transparency. I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau conduct a thorough investigation into the matters raised in this complaint and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

    To Whom It May Concern:
We have addressed this issue with the guest several times, we have told him he smoked marijuana in the room to the point of having to put the room down for days.  We charged him 100.00 for the extra cleaning that needed to be done. He has made complaints online, and over the phone under different names and after waiting 2 months after the stay in then making complaints, on our end totally unacceptable.
It is against Colorado state law for any smoking of any kind in the hotel.

    Thank you,
    General Manager

    To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Ronda M******* and I am the very new General Manager at this property.  We have been extremely busy trying to fix things that have not been done in at least 4 years.  The reason our ceiling was torn apart we were in the middle of fixing and replacing

new water lines throughout the hotel.  We also had signs up in the hallways for guests apologizing for any inconvenience this may cause.  As far as the mold we are also trying to remove that as we find it in our hotel. The guest could have easily come to the desk and

let us know and we would gladly accommodate her and move her to another room.  Instead nothing was said to me or my staff.  Plus the fact that this is the first week of April that we are hearing anything about this issue and she was here first week of March, with

that being said I do not believe the guest is entitled to a full refund, they still stayed the night used our services possibly a partial refund would be acceptable.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the hotel.

    Thank you for your time,

    Ronda M*******
