  I am doing house renovations. Chance came by to look at all projects & then sent an est. He told me he was in this business 5 yrs. He has not been, & I didn't know this! He started with putting vinyl down in my bedroom. I was painting in a dif room where the vinyl flooring boxes were. I cxed with ******** said he was having a hard time getting the vinyl in or to click down. I went into the ************ didn't have much flooring down & was going to the store. After he got back, he was getting boxes more frequently so I said " u must of got the hang of it!" He didbt reply. I went in bedroom again to get my ********** seemed annoyed. I said I'd be right out of his hair. I asked about a board seeming loose. He said he's gotta fix it. I left him to do his ********* completed the floor. We put bed back but when we carried mattress in, he had frame in a different place. I didn't think much of it. We chatted, & he's coming back Mon to install baseboards,, closet up, & other work. I moved bed after he left & found some type substance in various spots on my new vinyl! I got down to look & could see it was now kinda *********** was trying to get it off! It was glue! Vinyl installed properly requires no glue! I then saw a cut in the board he glued! Plus that boards end was not level, it was protruding up some. There was glue there also & on the cut! At that pt. I decided to cx over all floor in am w/ sun coming in. That nite boards also were moving & not flush as should be, when walking on it. Inspection next am entailed another slice in board by doorway, a long saw cut, a very uneven cut 1 cent to over an inch, & boards moving I could lift up 4 or so inches! I also saw more glue! This is vinyl & NO GLUE ever! I should not be able to lift flooring. It should be securely down interlocked w/ neighboring boards.I cancel him coming & told him there's *********** need to communicate & get it fixed! He had excuses 1st, then said "he's out!" He wont respond 2 texts, phones OFF!

  Chance **** was contracted to put vinyl flooring in 1 room & hybrid flooring in 2 others. He did not lay my floor according to correct manufacturers specifications. He accidentally put cut marks, very noticeable on the floor & instead of redoing the boards, he glued them. There is residue & it looks terrible! He did not properly snap the vinyl in place & its failing. It moves & is separating. Some boards I can completely lift up off the floor! Some others are too tight against the wall. I was trying 2 discuss this awful work with him. He declared he never used glue, said it was in his pocket. However when I asked about the loose boards he said he was gonna glue them! He disappeared...no more correspondence after contacting him about the terrible craftsmanship..he also changed his phone #! I msg him on face book. He blocked me. I must get this whole floor ripped out & pay to have all redone! This is more obviously $$, time, & stress on me. He chooses to ignore the problem & I can't get a reaction or help from him!

  I expect him to pay for new flooring & install. Plus my floor is discontinued! I do not know what to do about that either...he chooses to ignore me & I also asked for his license/ ins. Got neuther!
