Dominic was very professional, I have dealt with some sketchy plumbers in the past. However this was not the case. He was very straight forward with the process and informed me on how much things would cost. Would recommend this company to any client, whether personal house problems or needing a contractor for a commercial project. Dominick and his crew demands five stars.

I hired Interstate Plumbing Solutions (IPS) to do all the plumbing for a new construction home including 5 baths, water, gas and sewer hook up, etc. It took IPS several attempts until they finally passed the plumbing rough inspection. The reason for the failed inspections was because some of the work done was not in line with the current building codes or was just outright wrong. There were numerous water leaks and it took multiple attempts until the leaks were stopped. Some of the plumbers working on the house were still in plumbing school and their inexperience was demonstrated in how they had not placed the bath mixers at the right setting and the drain pipes for the vanities were all far too low which created a lot of issues when it came time to install the vanities. It has been one nightmare after the other and more mistakes keep unraveling. There are too many other examples to note. Because I felt uneasy about the quality of the work performed at my house, I had other plumbers come to check the work towards the latter part of the project. They uncovered a number of serious issues that had to be corrected resulting in me having to call in for yet another plumbing inspection. IPS did come back to fix those issues but it delayed my projects by several weeks. IPS then told me they couldn’t complete my project pass the rough inspection! When I tried to hire one of the plumbers that had seen the work, Two of them plumbers outright refused to take over the job saying they wanted nothing to do with it, but luckily I did find one plumber that was willing to. I do not recommend IPS, certainly not for any new construction projects. But worse of all was their unwillingness to come and fix some of the issues noted above. I have called and texted them numerous times to no avail and am now stuck having to pay other plumbers to fix their work. I now also have to incur more expenses due to having to redo some of the Sheetrock and paint due to the plumbing problems.

We at IPS did the best we could to assist in this project. This project was mismanaged from the beginning, with a high turnover rate due to a lack of a general contractor. It had a high stress level, to the point that one of our staff experienced a fall due to an OSHA violation and another experienced a heart attack due to the stress level with the owner. IPS did comply with the changes requested by the owner even though the work was inspected prior and passed, which were not code violations. Due to the circumstances, IPS elected to withdraw from the project because the owner since the beginning had been consulting another plumber who was observed working on the project. A notice was sent to the building department which was accepted due to their knowledge of the issues presented on this project. Just to confirm, there were issues with all trades on this project due to the lack of a general contractor. I believe the project would have experienced a smooth transition had the owner hired a general contractor with experience in New Home construction. IPS is not known to have issues with any of our customers since we have been in business and we go far and beyond to satisfy our customers. Unfortunately, this particular customer was unhappy with our performance. IPS will evaluate this situation and provide further customer service training for our staff.
