  Ordered broomball to play on frozen lake in winter. We received complete garbage - the material of the paddles is the cheap foam material that companies use to stuff boxes (like packing peanuts). These will break upon the first use when it is cold. What we received is not even worth $10, and we paid over $240. Called to try to get a return label and they wouldn't give one - wanted to do an investigation, require pictures, etc. This company is a scam.

  Mr. *** ****** placed an order on the ******** website on Thursday 9/7/2023 for 1 unit of W10341 Foam Broomball, 36", selling price to customer $146.82. Customer also ordered 2 units of Spectrum All Purpose Goal (not disputed). The product was shipped on Monday 9/7/2023 via Fedex on tracking number ************ and received on Sunday 9/10/2023.  Customer contacted the S&S customer service team to report his displeasure with the product quality. We asked the customer to supply us with pictures that displayed the quality issues (see attached). The pictures provided do NOT indicate any compromises with the goods. The S&S product quality team inspected our on-hand inventory and those goods also passed inspection.

  The customer stated in the complaint that he has intensions to use these foam brooms on a frozen lake. The website product description reads that this item is a popular variation of "floor hockey". Just like "floor hockey", "Foam broomball" is designed to be played on a "floor". 

  This "Foam Broomball" is made in the USA and is a very popular game for young children (5-10) to be played on a FLOOR. The product is not meant, nor is it advertised as to be used on a frozen lake. 

  We provided the customer a Return Authorization number ******* on 9/18/2023. Once we receive the product back into stock, in sellable condition, we will issue the customer a full refund for the purchase price of $146.82 As of Monday 10/2/2023 we have NOT received the return from him.

  Please see attached picture of product what customer received, a copy of our website product description (customer placed the order on our website and had full access to the product description). As mentioned, the product is designed to be used on a FLOOR. I also provided a copy of the customer's credit card receipt to indicate the purchase price of $146.82. 

  This is a very popular product and many children between the ages of 5 and 10 play with this set during their PE classes or supervised after-school programs. We have not experienced any quality related problems with this item.  We fully stand behind the quality of this product, as long as it is used for its intended application.
