They took all my personal information and the business owner Malik went I expressed that his employee Victor was charging me on a lease for jewelry I did not consent too he went on to degrade and harass me by calling me “the dumbest bitch” I felt in fear for my person and my identity. This company is stealing from people. I had to call the police because they refused to put a stop to a lease that I didn’t consent to the employee asked for my phone and filled out all the information when I asked what he was doing he said oh nothing.

In September of 2023, I stopped into this jewelry store to buy items. I purchased a necklace, pendant and bracelet. Before leaving the owner asked to speak with me over the phone. He told me he needs more money to make his sales day. Then offered me a ring at a discount. I declined. Later, after a couple of days, he calls me and asks me to work for him and meet him for an interview. I come in and he begins talking to me about the place. Him and his sales person begin to talk to me and ask me questions. He then proceeds to ask about my history there. After explaining I purchased items before, he begins to sales pitch me the ring from the previous day. This day is 09/25/2023. I told him my financial situation and that I wasn't working. He then pressured me into applying for a ***** *****. The item he was trying to sell me would be $840. It would need to be sized and available at a later date. After I got approved I told him I'm not going to use this lease and I have 90 days. Because I got approved he started to pitch to me another lease agreement with *********** *******. I explained multiple times that I don't want to or need to. I eventually gave in to him and applied. After I had applied for the two leases, he asked for my phone. His sales person takes the phone and eventually he signed the lease agreements. I'm unaware of this and he tells me that I can get the ring but I need to make an initial payment. The payment would be like $80. He tells me I won't pay for the rest until I get the ring. After multiple attempts and excuses I get the ring early 2024 on January 5th. During the time in between I opened cases with both companies, I explained that he signed the agreement with my phone and charged me a total of $5,129. He doesn't want to help me and wants me to take the fall for this.
