In May we bought a sofa, loveseat and recliner. A month ago I reached out because the couch was sinking in the middle and just not holding up and the recliner fabric was shredding and tearing in between the chair and the foot rest. Three weeks ago they brought a replacement sofa and no replacement recliner. In the meantime, I noticed that the arm of the loveseat was sinking like there wasn't a support there and I called them. I mentioned that we did not get the replacement recliner and we had an issue with the love seat. We got the run around, but after talking to yet another person, delivery was set up for 2/8. We waited around all day and they never showed and never called. Needless to say, we will not be getting replacement pieces eventhough all furniture is less than a year old and in addition to us purchasing their "goof proof warranty". We are middle aged with no children in our home, so it's not like our furniture gets abused, but either way, they are not standing up to their warranty and we are stuck with sub par furniture that isn't going to lastReview from Rebecca T

Bobs discount furniture upsold up on overpriced furniture that is poorly made They take a overly extended time to get parts if they get them to you at all There is no communication from bobs about your product/part You have to contact them and then maybe you get someone one the phone who maybe can help The bottom line to my review In June my chair broke bobs came out ordered the parts needed to fix the chair was told that the chair would be working in January when the parts were to be delivered I called bobs several times their employees are uniformed of any update like that chair is no longer made and can’t get the correct part for the chair and there is nothing they can do to fix my chair however the final person I spoke with about this problem only wanted to focus on the couch. I feel that bobs is very deceiving to the consumer save your money and just buy quality made products from a reputable company like steinhaffals and know that you spent less on better quality products than you would at a BOBS. the bottom line from Bobs was too bad and there was no resolution so I have broken down furniture that cannot be used and out a lot of money Thanks BOBSReview from Joshua L

Bad from the start…had my son’s girlfriend come to the house to accept delivery and it never came. They said they did but no door was knocked on or doorbell rung. Rescheduled delivery and finally got it. Now 2 years later my legs are resting on a board and no foam. Bought the insurance but claim got denied saying it’s not covered. I was told if I took a knife to it that it would be covered but obviously I’m not doing that. Total waste of money for the insurance. They also told me that it would be under manufacture warranty which is only a year and that has passed. So basically they say their furniture is only good for a year and then you are screwed. Now I have 3 more years of payments left on something that is junk.Review from Paul G

Very disappointed that my store credit wasn't honored. I had a $159.00 store credit that I tried to use while buy another piece of furniture, they said it had expired. Yet last year, I went there and it was still active and nobody told me then that it had an expiration date. I could have demanded cash, but accepted a store credit because I knew I would be shopping there again, as I am loyal to those who treat me fair.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC Response

Terrible Experience ! Faulty Furniture & Worthless Protection Plan I purchased furniture from Bob Discounted Furniture in April 2022 along with a protection plan that was valid until April 2027. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Shortly after purchase, my coffee table’s wooden top began to discolor and the paint started peeling off on its own—even though it was used under normal conditions with proper care. In addition, my sectional sofa developed severe issues: the fabric is covered in lint, the cushions have lost their firmness, and the color has faded significantly, despite no accidents or mishandling. I filed a claim (Claim Number: ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** expecting support, only to have it rejected without a satisfactory explanation. I urge potential buyers to be extremely cautious before doing business with Bob Discounted Furniture, as both the product quality and customer service fall far below acceptable standards.Review for Guardian Insurance.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC Response

Hello ********** we are very sorry to hear of the concerns that you are having with your merchandise. The merchandise purchased from us here at Bob’s holds a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty did expire in May of 2023. The Goof Proof protection is a plan through a third party company, Guardian. Guardian covers the merchandise damage resulting from a single accident. Accidental damage must be reported within thirty days of occurrence and they must be able to provide the necessary details to clearly indicate that this damage occurred through a single accident or incident and not through everyday use, misuse or abuse of the merchandise. Guardian has the right to deny claims for coverage under their own guidelines. It is never our intent to disappoint a Customer and again we want to apologize that we could not meet your expectations. Do not buy from here! We purchased a sofa, recliner, coffee table and side table. Paid upfront, no financing needed. We did not want it delivered until January. They called in mid December and wanted to deliver on December 21 but we reminded them we didn't want delivered until January. It was even written in the contract for January delivery. They said that was no problem, just give them a call when we were ready. This was in writing from them too. When I called in January to set up delivery they said they no longer had the sofa. They double sold it! And then they said sofa was discontinued. They wanted me to accept the rest of the order which I refused. I realized then I was probably speaking to an AI computer because it just kept asking me the same question over and over. Went to the store that afternoon and they just wanted to give me a store credit even though it was their error. I demanded a full credit which they reluctantly agreed to. Of course they didn't say it would take 8 business days to see it back on the card. Never will we go here again.Bob's Discount Furniture LLC Response

Please be aware that the 12 months no interest is such a scam. They DO NOT tell you to be sure you pay it all in that one year or else they will charge you the entire purchase price amount. I honestly don't even know how they calculated the dollar amount. I owed 1,400 and then they charged me $1,000 in interest! I am a single mom and paying down my balance and they charged me that much at once and I have never experienced this ever in my life from any other business. They also charged for the warranty after I changed my mind and told them I didn't want it. They just keep being an awful experience, from when they delivered my couches. we had some snow that day and the driver said he would not deliver until it was all clear. So I asked for a few minutes to clean. I had the driveway cleaned in 5 minutes and as I was taking the last pass, they drove away after they saw the driveway was just cleared! I was 5 months pregnant at the time, and it was so stressful. I was never able to get the couches i wanted and was stuck with a set that did not fit my space. I would not recommend them to anyone. they are a nightmare and have just caused me so much problems. i regret ever buying anything from themBob's Discount Furniture LLC Response

Regarding the merchandise concerns, we have been able to access your account and we do see that we offered a courtesy reselection credit on your sofa and loveseat due to the size concern. Very disappointed we ordered a part to fix our recliner motor died! Told 6 to 7 weeks we called to check on it they told us they never received our money! We checked with the bank and the part was paid for so we called back proved we paid now told another 6 to 7 weeks! Will the part even come? We have been able to access your account and we do see that part has been ordered and paid for, however it is on back order from the vendor for 6-7 weeks. Parts are ordered directly from the vendor, they are not something we keep in stock. As we do not manufacture merchandise ourselves, we are forced to rely on our vendors to ship parts when necessary. I purchased a queen pull out couch from Bobs 2 years ago. I use it for guests on the weekends. A couple weeks ago, my boyfriend and I started to get sick. We decided to do a deep clean of the apartment. We got around to cleaning the sheets and mattress. We noticed it was wet underneath with a lot of black mold. I don’t understand. Is there not enough ventilation under the mattress to prevent this. I’ve only had this for 2 years and have to replace it already. How does this happen??Bob's Discount Furniture LLC Response
