I purchased the TIMEX TIME MACHINES® 29mm Pink Panda Elastic Fabric Kids Watch for my daughter. This watch sold me due to the “100% worry-free replacement plan” offered by Timex, stated clearly on their packaging and website: ************************************************************************************************* Inevitably, my daughter has lost her watch and when I contacted Timex for my replacement watch, this was their reply: “I apologize for any confusion caused by the product packaging and online resources. Unfortunately, our Timex warranty only covers manufacturing defects, not lost items.” Why do they have the guarantee on the product and their website if they don’t actually offer it? I’m not confused, no thank you, I’ve been duped. I’m disappointed in the misleading and inaccurate offer that Timex is deceiving costumers with. I will not be supporting this company anymore.

I sent a Timex Waterbury chronograph to Timex Group Connecticut for repair. (The timepiece had moisture ingress and stopped working. My jeweler said it required a new internal mechanism.) The Connecticut office received my timepiece and sent it to a repair facility in the ************ The technicians there wanted to replace the watch with an Expedition model that has a down-market appearance and is 1/3 the retail cost of the Waterbury. I tried to explain to the US-based (?) contact that their solution was unacceptable, asking him to explain to the repair technicians the difference between the two product groups. Instead of attempting to alleviate the problem and satisfy the customer, they responded that they were returning my wristwatch unrepaired. I have yet to receive my inoperable wristwatch, but I will never purchase another Timex watch nor recommend the company to friends and colleagues due to poor product reliability, deplorable customer service and lack of onsite repair.

I’ve always admired Timex, but my recent experience with their handling of a limited-edition watch order has left me deeply disappointed. I placed an order for a limited-edition watch that was marked as available on their website. After receiving a confirmation email, I eagerly waited for 10 days, only to be told via email that the watch was no longer available and my order couldn’t be fulfilled. What makes this even harder to accept is that, while I was being informed my order couldn’t be completed, I saw others posting photos of the exact watch I ordered. It felt like my order was deprioritized or mishandled, which left me feeling excluded and undervalued as a customer. Timex offered me a 30% discount for a future purchase, but given they already have 25% off sitewide, this felt like a token gesture rather than a meaningful resolution for the disappointment of missing out on a watch I truly wanted. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled—delayed communication, lack of proactive resolution, and an inadequate attempt to make things right—has left me questioning whether I’ll ever buy from Timex again. I’m sharing this in hopes that Timex improves their inventory management and customer service. Loyal customers like me deserve better.

I bought the Timex Ironman Transit+ Watch with Activity Tracking & Heart Rate 33mm for swimming since it said it had the highest water proof rating, and it said in the ****** site: Water-resistant to 100m (330 ft): In general, suitable for snorkeling, as well as swimming, but not diving. Scroll down the page it says water resistant to 50m. After two months of swimming two days a week in shallow water, the watch stopped functioning. That's with me air and pat drying it. They falsely advertised the watch, I couldn't refund. And to repair it, it would cost me more money. Complete waste of money.

Hello ***** I hope this finds you well. We sincerely apologize for the wrong information posted about this watch. This watch only has a water resistance rating of 50 m, which is only good for washing hands and light swimming. I'm going to look into this further to see what we can do to resolve your issue. I'm going to send you an email to ask for more information and provide you with the next steps. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Pathetic customer service in almost every respect. I purchased a ~$100 watch that stopped working within a few months after purchase. No big deal. I attempted to follow instructions for warranty evaluation/repair. That is where everything went sideways. Took over 6 PAINFUL months to receive a watch back...and they couldn't even replace the watch I purchased with a like-for-like model (even though the watch I had purchased that failed was a new model!). Credit to the courteousness of the two customer service agents who I worked with, but aside from that, they were completely useless. I never ever leave negative reviews for anyone/anything, but when I tell you this experience was exceptional for how awful it was, I hope you can believe me. I want anyone who sees this to be very very cautious before purchasing anything of any value from Timex. The warranty/repair process was nearly impossible and no one follows up or ever has accurate information. If there was an option for zero-stars, that is what I would have chosen.

Hello, *****. I hope this finds you well. First and foremost, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this whole experience has caused you. We will definitely respect your decision if you'd like to bring your business elsewhere. I was able to look into this case and based on the conversation you had with the first agent you spoke with, the replacement watch we sent the 1st time was approved by you so that's the watch we mailed in. You also choose the 2nd watch you recently received. We know that waiting for 6 months is unacceptable and we apologize for this. I know this might not change what happened but we recently had a system change hence the repair took longer than expected. We hope the new watch you received will last long for you to enjoy. Thanks, Timex Customer Service

******** False Advertising. Viewed a Timex watch ad on ********. Immediately purchased what I thought was a Unisex watch. Great colors, looked awesome. Upon furthur research, this turned out to be a Woman's watch. I went back to my order, and tried to cancel, because it was the weekend and my order status said Unfulfilled. Monday comes along, and Timex says they cannot cancel order. So I wait for the watch to arrive, open it, and sure enough, definitely a Woman's watch. I press the links in Timex email to start the return process, place information in their original box, get in my car to go to the *** store ( because watch was delivered ***) and they said return label was for ***** So once again, get in my car and drive to the **** office and finish the return process. All of this could have been avoided in the first place by not deceptively placing ads on F******** and two, allowing for a chance to cancel order within a day or two, and not automatically placing order, no matter what the case may be. Never again Timex! Never again!

The company says that they’ll repair my $40 watch sometime in August - December 2024. My watch is under warranty and they refuse to replace it. They do not have functioning website forms to even send the watch in for repairs. The customer service agents do not identify themselves.

They should redo the web site. Went to ********** *** there is nothing there. Closed the two outlet stores. They posted the ******* outlet store closed but not the ********** location. What a way to do business. Drove to ********** ** from *** ***** area for nothing.

Hello *** ********. I hope this finds you well. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please provide me the link where it shows the outlet stores indicated on the website? I will have this removed by our technical team to avoid more confusions. Sadly, we already closed all our physical stores anywhere in the US since 2020.

Received brand new watch as gift and upon opening manufacturer packaging I noticed the clasp was bent which doesn’t allow the clasp to properly close/lock in place. Spent a few weeks ordering parts, going to watch repair stores, and came up short. Attempted to work with Timex but they refused to discuss replacing part and only offered to accept return if it was within 30 days. I cannot believe this company is still around. $200 watch that is now worthless.

Hello ***** I hope this finds you well. We are sorry to hear about your issue with the watch. This process wherein parts are not being sent out separately has been implemented since. I can take a look and check what can we do to get this sorted out. We will be sending you an email to ask more information about the watch so that we can find the best resolution for this case.

My Timex Ironman watch stopped functioning properly while under warranty. I shipped the watch to their repair department. It's now been 5 MONTHS without a repair or replacement. Every time I reach out to customer service (6 times), I'm asked to be patient. It’s crazy that it takes this long to repair a $50 watch. And that a huge brand like Timex doesn’t keep their customers informed on the process. That’s how companies lose customers. Someone high up in Timex Customer Service needs to understand this dynamic and try to remedy the situation. I've purchased multiple Timex Ironman watches over the years. This will be my last.

Hello Mr. ******  Thank you for reaching out. We sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your repair request. I have already asked the repair team's manager to prioritize the shipment of your watch. We will get back to you within this week for the updates and hopefully with the tracking number. I know this is an opportunity for us to provide better service to our customer and we'll take note of this feedback.
