            DROPPED OFF MY BACKHOE FOR A HEAD GASKET REPAIR, SHOP HAD MY MACHINE FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS BEFORE STARTING WORK ON IT. THEN WITH OUT ANY SIGNED WORK AUTHORIZATON OR ESTIMTE THEY RAN UP A 13,000.00 BILL ON A 1966 BACKOE FOR A HEAD GASKET REPAIR. THE ONLY CONVERSATION HAD WAS THAT I ASKED HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO REBUILD THE MOTOR AND NICK THE OWNER WHO I DEALT WITH SAID OVER 10,000.00 SO AT THAT TIME I TOLD HIM I WASNT INTERESTED IN SPENDING THAT MUCH ON A YARD MACINE AND TOLD HIM TO JUST DO THE HEAD GASKET. AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING APR 16TH NICK TOLD ME EAD WAS IN THE MACHINE SHOP, APR 18TH I DROPPED OFF PARTS BOOKS AND HEAD GASKET INFORMATION. MAY 28T I CALLED TO CHECK STATUS NICK SAID GOING TO START WORKING ON MACHINE AGAIN SOON. JUNE 1 NICK CALLED SAID MACHINE WAS DONE AND I ASKED HOW IT WAS RUNNING AND HOW MUCH WAS THE GEAD GASKET JOD . WHEN HE SAID 13000.00 I WAS FLOORED. TOLD HIM I DIDNT AUTHORIZE THAT KIND OF MONEY TO BE SPENT FOR THIS MACHINE AN HOW COULD A HEAD GASKET COST THAT MUCH. HE WENT ON TO TALK ABOUT ALL THE WORK HE DID BUT ALL UNAUTHORISED WORK NONE THE LESS.

            In regards to complaint #*************. 

            Myself and Jolly Johns Truck and Equipment came to an agreement over the unauthorized work and a settlement was reached. I made them an offer to pay for all out of pocket expenses and only 1000.00 of labor totalling 6250.00 there about and they accepted my offer.  My business with them in this matter has been closed.  My backhoe is back in my possession. Thank you.
