Don't use this company. They take no responsibility for their work, are rude when you ask them to resolve issues and charge your credit card immediately after service without authorization, and don't even invoice you for the work so you know what you're paying for. We recently had to replace an old rusted out pool motor and called Rizzo pools. First visit they told us the motor was fine and it was the electrical outlet (cost $132). After electrician came out and said the outlet was fine. Second visit they replaced the old motor and again said the new motor wasn't working because of the outlet (cost $800). Electrician came out again and said it was fine (cost $115). He then looked at motor and saw that the motor's cable was almost completely cut in half and interior of motor was cracked. We contacted Rizzo Pools and got attitude from the sales manager. We were told they would clean the pool for us to make up the cost of the electrician. They came out, did the cleaning, and immediately charged our credit card $320! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this company.

Good afternoon **** *********** even though we have already spoke to review this issue i will respond as i did on Google, and in email. Good afternoon, I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with Rizzo Pools. Unfortunately today was the first time I heard there was an issue. Upon Speaking with our sales person I agreed with your stance on the issue and promptly issued a credit on your account to match or exceed the amount of money you paid the electrician. Unfortunately all new customers are charged COD until credit is established. Additionally all invoices are emailed to clients daily so you know exactly what you are being charged for. Again I apologize for the negative experience. Thank you for your review, and have a good weekend

One of the biggest problems was NOT receiving an invoice for the motor repair until days later when I called and requested one be sent. Yet, you still charged my card almost immediately upon completion of service. Not only that you claim that once invoiced a call should be placed by your manager to the customer to review payment. We never received a call for any of the invoices you did send - a total of 4! To have a policy of invoicing and immediately charging a customer’s credit card is bad business practice. I spoke with my credit card company and they told me it was highly irregular for a business to do this!

I'm complaining about the company billing for work that was never done or expressed before the service call. I called Rizzo Pools to have a tech locate and patch a leak in a liner. I was told that any diver time and leak fixing would cost $175. When the tech arrived, he surmised that he didn't think I had a leak after a few minutes and, according to his words, not worth the cost for him to dive. I said thank you very much and thought this was the end of it. I was surprised to see that Rizzo billed me for 26 minutes of the tech's time and 30 minutes for commute, including a gas surcharge, none of which was communicated to me. I called Rizzo surprised at the cost ($134) for the "service" call, and suggested paying half since the diver assessed no reason to perform the work. Rizzo promptly hung up and refused to negotiate. I should not be paying for commute, or gas surcharge (which was never outlined before the tech came out), and I was never told what happens if the tech does not do the work if, in his expert judgment, thinks it's a wasted expense. And I should not be charged for the tech remaining longer than was necessary to rack up minutes on the call. Rizzo is an unreasonable and dishonest business.
