Purchased 2010 ******** *** from terryville Chevrolet on 5-17-24, left 20 mins off lot overheating, they called tow truck, hours later said good to go it was thermostat. Leave again same distance same issue. Dealership is closed by now. Called salesman on his cell phone no answer, my wife text him to call immediately he calls. Says leave it and we tow in the am. I called tow truck had it towed to dealership. Cost 260, they had my car until 6-14 fixing all things and rebuilt heads instead of replacing. Now as of 7-22 it's sitting in the dealership in ***** as I travel for work. Theh said heads etc need to be replaced because the work wasn't done properly and prior to replacing they just called me to tell me that checked there is fragment in the oil. The engine is no good and they said terryville knew this and wanted to pass this car off. It's going to cost me 6,000 I do not have current engine replacement sheets yet but have the one from them for replacing heads. I cannot upload all the documents could you please call me or email to let me know where I can send the documents of support.Initial Complaint

Purchased a vehicle with them on 4/6/2024 Sales man named Mitch, promised upon registering the truck, we would get a trailer hitch module installed (may be called something different), gasoline (because I was sold a truck with less than 80 miles in it), tires, and a secondary key. After we spoke, Mitch then said the final step was to finalize with the General Manager, I believe named Nathan. Nathan did not allow me to read ANY paperwork I was signing, just said sign here. He also said he could not get me the monthly price that Mitch went over with me, that was actually $160.00 more per month, after signing. I would have backed out of purchasing this vehicle, if I knew any of this. The monthly price of the truck is $763 for the next 5 years. This is a scam, I put $7,000 down on a truck that’s not worth more than $30,000. I would like this discussed before I make my first payment, which is 5/6/2024. Nathan proceeded to tell me I have to make payments through ******* ****. This company is full of scams and does not report payments on time. Leading companies to repossess vehicles for being past due, when they aren’t. Check engine light came on in the truck a week later. I call for service, get told to bring it in that Monday. They did not want to give us a rental, but because there was no other method of transportation, they did anyways. They gave us a dirty rental, I have pictures of the trash that was inside of it. In the service notes, which I have copies of, the service writer said the check engine light came on because there was a low amount of gas in the truck. Why did you sell me a truck with no gas? Then blame me for the light being on? I have check engine readings from the parts store of all codes. I pick up the truck a few days later, and the light comes back on 4 days after with the same light. I have the codes scanned once again, with different issues. I called for service, they refuse to service me until I give them the dealer plate back and register it.Business response

I purchased a Chevy *********** on 10/21/23 6 days after my warranty is out the check engine light comes on. I go to the local ******** to have the code read. Turns out to be "Replace evaporative emissions (EVAP) Leak detection pump" i check the ****** info it says the original remaining factory warranty for emissions is another 56 months or 40,804 miles which should see me covered. I call the dealership and have trouble reaching my sales rep so I was sent to the service department. The service department felt combative immediately about not being responsible and that they handled the things on there end they needed to handle. With no help from service I decided to try and get ahold of my sales rep again. When I did eventually end up speaking with him the only help I got from him was him having the service department call me. I speak with service for a 2nd time and I can tell by the voice it was a different person, much different demeanor. They wanted me to come in and have it "diagnosed". I told them on the phone I went to ******** and had the code read does the diagnosis cost me anything? She responded typically 1 hr 150$. It is now 1/9/24 and I've been getting the run around trying to find someone to work with me and honor the factory warranty. I don't need a diagnosis charge I just bought a 30,000$ car with your company. 66 days later I have a broken vehicle and no proper assistance.Business response

Highly summarized, purchased a 2017 ******* ****** for a little over $18,000 drove to ***** ******** broke down; happened within 60 days and 3,000 miles of the purchase. Terryville Chevrolet was of very little help stating the vehicle was sold 'AS-IS' and they have no responsibility to do anything; but will claim that have "tried". Mark my words, they have not, they have been less than helpful to the point of combative. Bottomline my Father-in-law ***** (this is ***** ********* ###-###-####) writing this on his behalf has been without transportation for 3 weeks already and it has no eta for a repair. He needs a loaner or replacement vehicle as he is unable to get to frequent doctor's visits and don't have a credit card or funds to pay for a rental. See attached PDF for further context. Note: I also have extensive details including Phone Records, Photos, Invoices and well documented conversations w/ dates, times etc.Initial Complaint

I purchased a truck from terryville Chevrolet on 07/14/2023 and the truck was picked up on 07/15/2023. At the time of picking up the vehicle, it was noted that there is still a whine coming from the driveline that was supposed to be fixed after the initial text drive and was brought up to the salesman. Less than 2 hours after having the truck, the check engine light came on and would not go over 50 mph. After contacting the dealership, we discussed dropping the truck off for the following Wednesday. After initial review, I was told that the truck had no issues. The truck then as sat at Terryville Chevrolet for 22 days without being touched. After several missed phone calls to the dealership and no return call for a week, I finally spoke to someone and discussed the truck be brought to a dodge dealer was was there for another 11 days for the transmission to be repaired. After picking the vehicle up from the transmission repair that caused the check engine light, the whining noise was still present from the first test drive. After several unanswered phone calls to the dealership, they decided to replace the center support bearing in the driveshaft as that is what the dodge dealership noted was damaged. I was driving home from work on 08/24/2023 and the whine got progressively worse to the point I did not feel safe driving the truck any longer. I stopped at the closest shop to me and upon investigation, they noted that not only the center support bearing is bad but the rear differential has metal flakes in the fluid and the bearings inside move about an inch side to side when they should not move at all. A call was made to terryville Chevrolet and they informed us that they will not be assisting us any further with issues we have come across. The truck is now down until the differential is replaced as it is a safety hazard if the vehicle is driven, the differential can lock up at any time the vehicle is in motion.Business response

We spoke to the Customer and we are trying to get everything worked out. Truck was sold As-Is but with that being said we want to try and figure this out and make the customer happy.
