    You only receive a fraction of the value you paid forperhaps 20%. Ive faced numerous issues with Colonial Parking in DC regarding access to the parking space I paid for. Initially, it took an excessive amount of time to receive an access key, which restricted my ability to use the space outside of business hours (7am - 3pm), meaning no access on weekends. So, out of the 7 days for which I was paying, I could only use the space for 5 days and only during business hours.Despite multiple requests, the promised delivery of the key was repeatedly delayed, leaving me unable to utilize the service fully. I reached out to Colonial Parking over 100 times, often during work hours, and it took around 7 months before I finally received an access key.During a period when garage renovations required us to park in a nearby garage also owned by Colonial, I again faced issues accessing the space. 6 of us were left without a key. Repeated efforts to address this issue with Colonial Parking yielded no result. I spoke to the supervisor countless times, and he would repeatedly say he would be there the next day but never showed up.Throughout this time, I was only able to access my parking space intermittently due to the lack of an access key, significantly diminishing the value of the service I paid for. Instead of the full, unrestricted 24/7 access (100% of what I paid for), I was limited to specific hours (7am-3pm) or no access at all, meaning I could only use a fraction of the benefits I had paid for upfront. This experience has left me feeling as though Ive been paying for a service that I couldnt fully utilize, and the overall value received has not matched my expectations as a paying customer.After such a prolonged, frustrating experience, the idea of dealing with a similar situation again is something Id rather avoid at all costs.

    This sad excuse of a monopoly is not capable of hiring competent customer care employees because for weeks I attempted to smoothly transfer my vehicle from location 585 to location 177. After contacting colonial customer care and reaching out to the ********************** manager of location 177, I was assured that a smooth transition occurred. I received my access card and my automatic payments were set up for this new location. I reached out to these mother ******* on 6/3, 6/7, 6/11, 6/14 and 7/2 to ensure this transition would be smooth. I had to call their customer care department because ************************ website is the most user UNFRIENDLY website I had the pleasure to experience. After having them walk me through having to deactivate accounts, reactivate accounts, set-up payments, and ensuring me that I was good on their end, I walk to Location 177 to access car on 7/14 and these ************* turned off my access card without notice from either the customer care or the ********************** manager. These employees are either incompetent, liars, scumbags, or a combination. Do not trust what they have to say because they will likely mess it up or not be helpful enough to accomplish simply accomplish transitioning your information from location to location. I would recommend selling your car before you have the pleasure of experiencing headaches for weeks. I unfortunately have to have a car accessible at all times, and this company isnt smart enough to take my money when I am trying to throw it in their face.
