Staying at this amazing apartment in ********* was a treat! The place was well located, safe and very clean. The views from the apartment were great. We had the most wonderful stay at *********** - Pelican Residences. The property was spotless, well lit, and easily accessible to downtown *********. More importantly, the people within the property (and those virtually leading up to our arrival) were friendly, always helpful, and simply made our stay that much more enjoyable.Without hesitation, I'd recommend a stay at Pelican Residences properties.Pelican Residences LLC Response

I had a pleasant stay at Pelican Residences. The location was fantastic, close to key attractions and amenities. The communication with the team was excellentthey were responsive and helpful throughout my stay. However, I feel the furniture could use some updating to enhance the overall comfort and experience. Everything else, including cleanliness and check-in process, was seamless. Id definitely consider staying again, especially with the great service!Pelican Residences LLC Response

I wish I could give this company 0 stars because they are very shady. We booked a property with them after looking at pictures which included 2 pictures of a balcony. When we arrived we noted that the place did not have a balcony so we contacted them immediately. They dragged their feet responding to us "forwarding it to corporate office" and never got back to us. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they took down the pictures (I thankfully had the foresight to save them so have a copy) then stated that we never specifically requested a balcony so they are not at fault. So now I need to confirm with them that the pictures posted with the property are real? I guess I should not have assumed that these guys would falsely advertise. They repeated the same thing with the complaint at BBB dragging their feet again and then responded with the same BS message. Do not rent from these guys, the cannot be trusted! On top of it complaining to the BBB was a joke.Pelican Residences LLC Response

We are very disappointed and very dissatisfied with the property we rented from Pelican Residences ***** ******** ****** LOS ANGELES, CA 90046. Room 304) for our family vacation. As soon as we walked into the apartment we were overwhelmed by the smell of animal urine. This was absolutely not the amenities we were expecting to get for our 4 night in Hollywood. The very bad smell of urine The filthy walls and floors The vinyl is pealing up on the floor right as you walk into the kitchen The carpet on the steps is very matted down and smells like urine with pet stains. The main TV kept turning off and we could not get it to work The curtains in all the bedrooms are missing pieces of blinds and shining light in and not giving complete privacy. The furniture is dirty and had sticky and food stains on them. The beds are so hard and the pillows are flat We did sleep there 1 night as we did not have any other choice and we went to Target to purchase a new pillow and a blanket as our 13 year old daughter was so grossed out and would not sleep under the sheets. We had just left Las Vegas for the previous 2 nights at the Flamingo and we had no hot water and large stains on our floor. And we wish we would have just stayed there for the whole week instead of staying at this apartment We tried to make the best of it and kept trying to tell ourselves that we could tough it out for the next 3 nights but we could not get over the dirty feeling, the smell, and the very uncomfortable beds and furniture. We came here to relax and we are definitely not relaxed. I emailed Pelican Residences and they offered to re-clean the apartment. This would not fix the problems. They took over a week to get me a refund and for only staying at the place for 16 hrs they only gave me less then 1/2 my money back for a 4 night stay. I paid them $1165.00 and they only gave me back $468.00 as a refund. NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE !!! I want to leave a ZERO star reviewPelican Residences LLC Response

Hello Curtis, We are very apologetic that you felt that way. We did a full inspection of all our properties and your feedback was a bit exaggerated. We did offer you every support including sending our staff to attend to the issues - however you kept refusing any assistance (which we truly failed to understand). Normally these bookings are non refundable - however as a special courtesy, we refunded you 50% and this what you requested. We have a email from you where you asked for $468 and we refunded that. However, after we agreed to your request, you started to negotiate which was unethical. Hope you have a great day and you have better experiences in future.Review from Melanie F

August 2023 I booked an Airbnb in midtown Atlanta,GA through Pelican residence for a 10 days for my daughter & myself I was sent a video of the condo we were renting needless to say it was a severe health hazard it had mold everywhere no lamp shades broke garbage disposal dirty food dried on cabinets & walls extra sheets & blankets were on the floor rolled up thrown in the corner dirty I have 20 plus photos I contacted Pelican less than 24 hrs (16 hrs) to let them know we need to leave that I had photos I could send them they asked if they could have somebody come clean I said that is not going to help there is mold everywhere, they asked if we would be willing to go to a different location. I said I would like to go physically see the condo first, they asked if they could email me a video. Absolutely not when I asked to see the condo they told me would not be ready for 2 days they asked me to stay put or go check into a hotel for 2 days. I told them if I go check into a hotel I’m staying at the hotel so they asked me to be out by 12 PM that day even though that would not even have been 24 hours but we were out at 11 AM the reasoning was so they didn’t charge us for the day kept $792 of my money for a less than 24 hours stay and how they got away with it is you have to pay through cash app and when you do a dispute it has to show that the company that took the payment and because Cash App did their part, I could not dispute it so I lost $792 for 16 hours stay and they got away with it because they insisted on being paid through cash app and they know that is protection for them. You cannot go after the company I notified Cash App and they could care there is so much more about this the parking they said would be under the building my parking spot was outside. It was so many things I would never recommend staying at any of Pelican Residents throughout the US they are complete rip off even with photos. I did not win the dispute because of where the payment went .
