The $422.18 charge was not authorized. The regular 6-month price is $179.98, as shown in the attached discount offers. I was sent two emails on 6/22 offering 6-month prices of $89.99 and $71.99, respectively. On 6/23, I was again offered the $71.99 price. On 6/25 and 6/26, I was offered the price of $89.99; however, these offers show the regular 6-month price as $265.00. I never accepted any of the offers, and none of the offers stated a 6-month price of $422.18. All of the emails and offers are attached. I was able to attach the offers because the links in the emails still show the offers. On July 1st, I submitted a refund request to the vendor. On July 3rd, the vendor offered a 25% refund. On July 8th, I responded that this was unacceptable and demanded a full refund. There was no response from the vendor. On July 11th, I sent a follow-up email. There has still been no response from the vendor. I’ve attached the email chain. I demand a full refund!Initial Complaint

Highly Predatory! No matter what answer you put in their "quiz" you will get the same results, "high". Despite advertising a "no risk guarantee", it's nearly impossible to cancel. Offering a discount instead of a refund and this is the latest I received from their customer service after emailing them for two weeks requesting a refund, "I would like to refer you to our refund policy: To initiate a full refund request, customers must contact us via email at ...... within 11 days following the initial purchase. As part of the refund request, customers must explain their reasons for dissatisfaction and demonstrate adherence to the plan by completing 7 consecutive lessons. Proof of completion should be submitted in the form of screenshots or other acceptable documentation. Our Customer Service Team will review each request carefully, considering the provided reasons and evidence of plan adherence, within 1-3 business days. Should the request be approved, the timeframe for processing the full refund will be between 5-10 business days. Please note, full refunds are not applicable to recurring payment plans. Additionally, certain plans, such as the 28-day challenge, may be exempt from this policy due to the different nature and structure of the offer. This means that I simply can't authorize a full refund for you, unless you try the program for 7 consecutive days. If you don't want to do this, I can only offer you a 50% refund at the current moment" Is that not the most ridiculous refund policy?!! If they stood behind their product and it was a good product, they would allow a customer to cancel without having to email them for two weeks and jump through a million hoops to get your money back. Buyer beware, if you don't like the product be prepared to flush $30 or more down the toilet because it is nearly impossible to get your money back. As you see on the attached screenshot, it does not say you need to do what they are requesting I do for a refund.Initial Complaint

7/20/2024 I initially clicked on the link to sign up for a one month trial. That was for $29.99. After completing the sign up and providing your credit information there are a few windows suggesting upgrades to the plans. In the first two windows I was able to click no thank you which is a very small link under the agreement to upgrade. When it got to the full access upgrade the no thank you link is placed even closer to the full upgrade large link. I know I pressed no thank you but I believe they have both links tethered too close and the upgrade was “approved” and without a confirmation that I indeed wanted to upgrade the program automatically took $200 dollars from my account! I was overdrawn immediately! Very shady and not helpful for a company who spouts help and support with anxiety. I immediately contact their help Desk and was given a run around about if I was dissatisfied with the product they could offer me 25% refund. I refused and explained in depth what happened and how I was happy to try the product for $29.99 but wanted a full refund for the upgrade I did not wish to have. I received another email today saying this: Please note, full refunds are not applicable to recurring payment plans. Additionally, certain plans, such as the 28-day challenge, may be exempt from this policy due to the different nature and structure of the offer. As it has been more than 11 days since your initial purchase, you are no longer eligible for a full refund. However, as a gesture, I would like to offer you a 50% refund on your latest purchase. I responded I now want a full refund since I don’t trust their company and shady business practices. $190.91 is being pulled from my account but I have a $50 overdraft fee pending as well now too.Initial Complaint

On July 7,2024 I click on an ad in Instagram for Mellow Flow. I was immediately taken to their website and asked to complete a quiz to see what services would best suit my ADHD needs. When finished the quiz I entered my email address to receive my results, which I have never received. It then went through the services it offers. I clicked on the unlimited option and PayPal as my payment method. Before I completed the transaction I saw that they were still going to charge a monthly fee, I wanted to make sure this was correct so I back arrowred to the page I needed. As soon as I landed on that page it refreshed and went back to the starting page with the quiz. As I had not completed the transaction or received any notification on screen that I had made a purchase I left the website as I didn’t want to go through the quiz again. I then received 3 emails from PayPay saying Mellow Flow had charged me, approximately $500. I immediately contacted Mellow Flow, who said I must complete the service for a week before I can get a refund as per their T&C’s. I didn’t get any T&C’s because I didn’t make a purchase. They have proof the only time I was on the website was the time I took the quiz. I don’t even have a login for this company. This is causing extreme stress for me as the company are not helping resolve this issue. Please let me know if you need any further information.Initial Complaint

I have four charges from this business and used their virtual goods once. I attempted to cancel the services. They said I did not and they charged me four times ($28. $28, $30.03, and $30.03). When I emailed them, they offered to refund me 50% of the last charge. I cannot believe that this is how companies operate today. No wonder they have a F on BBB. When you go to their site, there is no information on cancellation. What you see is that drop their price from $79 to $28 to make it seem like this is some discounted item. It is such a racket. I can only be glad that this is not my business and that my monthly income which i use for my family is not made by preying on US consumers in such a nasty way. There is no good in that. Such unprofessionalism and predatory tactics, in a recession no less.Initial Complaint

In December of 2023, I purchased a one month subscription for a 28 Day Parenting Challenge from Parenting Leader. It was my understanding that if I completed the challenge and wanted to continue to use their product, I would renew my subscription, not them. I was charged for Jan., February, March, April, and May 2024 a monthly fee. When I emailed them they asked for pictures showing how many days I completed the challenge. After a few emails, I submitted the emails verifying I didn't complete the challenge and that I wanted a full refund for all the months I was charged. They only refunded me for the month of May. Everytime I call customer service, it ALWAYS says that all reps are busy and to email them. I've been calling for several days and still no one will answer or help me. You can even call the number and see that no one answers. I've requested through my emails to please speak to a manager to help me with a resolution, but I only received a generic response. I'm also not sure if they're a legitimate business. No one answers the phone and the emails are generic. Thank you for your time and help in resolving this issue.Initial Complaint

I purchased the MellowFlow app on a whim (I should mention I am a high-functioning autistic going through a lot of mental hell in my life right now). At first, the deduction of the $341.77 was denied on my credit card due to insufficient credit. However, it was deducted from my account with no warning, and I contacted them about it within eleven days. They said it was necessary to test the app so I could have my refund honored (I have already gotten the refund returned via PayPal due to their untimeliness). They were in poor communication with me and had me go through hoops to access the app in the first place. I have finally gotten access to the app, but I can only do one lesson at a time each day, and after my latest communication, they said they wouldn't honor my request because eleven days have passed.Initial Complaint

On May 22, 2024 I agreed to subscribe to an anti-procrastination app, Mellow Flow. I tried the app for 2 days and decided that it was not for me. Although I agree that this might work for others, I wasn't expecting just filling out prompts of repetitive questions. I did read the conditions, so thinking that I would qualify for the full refund I emailed the company at hello@mellowflow.app. They agreed to cancel my subscription, but there is no way to see if your subscription is removed from the website itself. I've left two negative reviews on Trust Pilot over the course of 3 days, which was the only way I was able to finally receive a response from the customer service "team". I then read reviews from others on reddit and it seems the same is happening to me: the app isn't terrible per se, however the customer service is negligent which is the opposite of what they say on their website. And because of that, their refund policy is proving to be a scam. I can provide more photo evidence if needed. What I would like out of this is a refund, and a warning to others of the lie that their customer service is attentive.
