"Ask for Funding" is an easy, seamless system to contact investors. You can find investors based on location or industry. Each investor has a investment profile, so it's easy to weed out the non-relevant investors. We highly recommend Ask for Funding to any entrepreneur.

I have read some of the reviews here. I think most entrepreneurs have little understanding of what it takes to raise capital from investors. This service is a list service. This site will not raise your capital for you. It takes much more than posting a listing here and sending emails. You must call the investors also to follow up, and make sure you have a 15 second pitch ready that gets their attention and a pitch deck to send them. They have to believe in YOU not your deal. Raising Capital is an Art Form. You must get very good at it if you want to fund your company. Also, most entrepreneurs do not ask for enough money. This tells the investor you do not know what you are doing. When you get an investor on the phone make sure you qualify them also. Ask good questions, such as 1. Are they currently looking for deals? 2. What size investments do they like to make? 3. What is their preferred investment structure and timeline? 4. What is their decision making process? 5. Always assume you are not fit for them. Get them to want you more than you want them. I would like to see improvements to the site, such as being able to sort based upon investor type in addition to sector. Remember one thing, there is always more money looking for good deals than there are good deals looking for money.

First time using a funding agency. Did my research and was pleasantly surprised. Andrew Buenavista, my agent, guided me with such professionalism. I felt at ease and the results have been beyond my expectations. I am currently discussing my seed level funding with multiple firms that are far beyond my hopes. I will again provide a updated review once this is completed. Again, Ask For Funding should be your first choice.

"Ask for funding" has been very helpful when connecting with investors, there is always someone you can speak with for any questions. It is the best platform I've come across by far.

I was impressed with the software link up and flow of connecting with potential investors. Separating VC, Equity, Angel a very nice factor. While replies weren't rapid fire the concept remains for someone to show interest. If people do see the introduction then this is an awesome sight. Time will tell.

Scam organization. They scrape legitimate investors info from public websites / data brokers and then try to sell that to naive entrepreneurs, without permission from the investors or disclosure to their customers / the startups. There is no direct contact to the company except for a phone number that goes to a Philippines outsourcer. Shady AF.

I would like to personally recommend the excellent attention from AskForFunding.com website re any concerns re investors or their location or types of businesses they invest in. AskForFunding always tried to 'tailor-made' my funding request for my start-up for my 'indie production co. to be located in Temecula, Ca. US. to match up with my UNIQUE line of business. They do have a lot of entrepeneurs in various locations in the U.S. I am still temporarily in Canada which makes it a bit more difficult to meet with an investor immediately but at least I am making connections so when I do get there which will be very helpful. Mr. Jose Nunez has wonderful customer relationship manners and responds immediately any concern or advice I may need.
