I purchased travel insurance through a company called Faye which is owned by zenner. I had an Irop for my departing flight that was boarding while I was still on my arrival flight and my flight left 15 minutes prior to the actual departure time. Faye refused to take any action on my behalf and said it was a Delta issue. Delta put me on a flight after haggling with them eventually Inwas reimbursed through Delta Airlines. Faye needed an extraordinary amount of information that I did not have ultimately making it impossible for to get reimbursed through my travel insurance. At this point why am I spending money on travel insurance that does not pay up for costs that I had to spend out of pocket hotels and food. Delta paid for my hotel stay and food. So I feel Faye insurance is a scam.

Consumers beware. While Faye's website is impressive, touting coverage for "trip cancellations, trip interruptions & trip delay with 24-7 support" noting "Faye goes above & beyond with a mission of quality service and partner with the most delightful insurance on the market with quick reimbursements", nothing could be less true leaving me to question if this company was a scam and even legit. My husband and I purchased a Faye policy for $2200 and when we filed a claim given our train cancellation in the UK and police informing us because of riots to return to our former destination in Scotland - Faye refused to honor our claims, after dragging out the claim process for 3+ months, telling us that there was no dispute about the train cancellation causing us to pay for canceled hotel fees and missing other legs of our trip, but because it did not rise to a Level 4 travel alert like we are seeing right now in Haiti, they refused to reimburse. Despite emails, calls, engaging in "Chats", our calls were not returned and customer service was horrific. Do not fall for this travel company - they are not legit in anything they represent and will take your money. Even when we appealed, they have refused to respond causing us to file a complaint with the State Department of Insurance, and to take to social media to warn others of their scam. BEWARE!

My spouse and I bought this insurance for our trip to Spain last May, 2024. The first week there my spouse was hospitalized twice for severe gastroenteritis, then we both got very sick and tested positive for covid. We came home, cutting our trip short by 2 weeks and sought medical care from our home physicians when we arrived back home in Portland, Oregon. Since we are in our 70's, and regrettably not very computer savvy, we had kept physical paper copies of everything pertaining to our trip, including the medical documentation from Spain as well as from our own home physicians. As such, we did not think getting compensation from Faye for our unexpected flight home, our medical expenses in Spain, and for our unrefunded hotel costs would be a big deal. Because we had all our documentation in paper form, Faye asked us to photograph each one and then email it to them. We did, and were told they were not legible and that we could mail the physical copies to them instead. I made copies of the relevant info and mailed it USPS Certified Mail to the P.O. Box number in Richmond, Virginia. According to USPS it was delivered 9/21/2024. I waited 4 weeks before calling Faye since I hadn't heard anything. Faye insists that they received nothing. I asked for a number for their legal department, which they refused to give. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one would contact me within 24 hours. This never happened. Given all the negative reviews I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But before buying their policy we Googled "reviews of Faye Insurance" and found only positive feedback. No idea how that worked. Fake 5 star reviews?

It has now been over 5 weeks since I filed a claim with Faye for CFAR reimbursement. I have emailed to find out the status of my claim with no response. I called and they told me I could not speak to the claims specialist, and they had no information on the status of my claim. They promise to process claims in 10-12 business days. Obviously this has not happened. i can only conclude that they don't want to pay my claim. I will not do business with them again.

ZENNER INSURANCE/FAYE INSURANCE DOES NOT PAY CLAIM. I purchased medical and trip interruption insurance from them for our trip to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in March 2024. My husband and myself, each had a policy. Unfortunately, we both struck ill requiring medical attention in the amount of $1065.89. Confirmation of Claim Report for medical bills were submitted and we confirmed back this amount. Reimbursement was issued in May 2024. Faye sent us a separate Confirmation of Claim report for trip interruption in the amount of $785.00 and we confirmed back this amount. Reimbursement was never issued despite reaching out to the company via Facebook, Customer Service email, and Customer Service telephone. That's a lot of money and for which we are entitled and paid insurance policy in full, in good faith. Please help us get reimbursed for $785.00 because our trip was greatly interrupted. Thank you Lois
