Poor communication and lack of fulfillment on contract items in new construction. We signed our contract in January 2022. with **** Gorman, the Sales Rep. List of issues throughout the project: 1. Inquired about a Gourmet kitchen, **** indicated that would prevent having a pantry. Final walkthrough there was no pantry. **** said “don’t go off the pictures”. Only to find he ensured the next lot had a gourmet kitchen. 2. Foundation layed opposite of plan. Changes to plans could have been discussed with us if we had a Pre Construction meeting as stated in the contract. The Builder (not LC Homes, made a concession). However this layout caused a shorter than expected driveway. 3. Initial Design Selection meeting went smooth - selected options from samples. Informed weeks later that flooring was not available. Upon scheduling a follow up meeting to reselect **** did not show up, instead had a colleague show us a new sample board but she could not answer any of our questions. Upon calling **** he proceeded to get into a screaming match with my husband. 4. At final walkthrough the bathroom cabinet color was incorrect. **** acknowledged it could have been his mistake in how his notes were captured from our initial design selection meeting. 5. Stone on front of house was incomplete, **** dismissed it as being an upgrade so it didn’t have to be completed (this has since been resolved by contacting the Builder directly). 6. Per the contract we should’ve had a concrete walkway from front door to driveway. Due to house layout the garage is in the back. ****’s colleague Justin doubled down and told us we would only get a walkway in the back entrance like the first Lot that was completed. However no concrete walkway (all asphalt and mud). 7. 2 days after closing, reported to **** a crack in outside pane of a window. He emailed back that he would have it taken care of with the Builder but have not heard from him since (2 months and counting) still within 1 year warranty.

Furthermore I requested to be contacted by the business. The concrete walkway has not been completed as was stated in email would be completed (photo attached).  Unresponsive on resolution of issues that are under warranty. If they are truly interested is resolving open issues and customer satisfaction, they would reach out to me directly to understand what needs to be resolved, discuss what can be done, and also apologize for such a terrible experience with their Sales Rep Ryan Gorman. The builders on this project, Colonial Construction, have informed us they have spoken to the customer and all is well.   I personally called the seller to confirm but have yet to hear back.

We settled on a home built by LC Homes and purchased additional lighting above our island. The construction manager allowed us to change the direction of the island for a better layout and did not make the proper adjustments to fix the lights. Now our lights go the opposite direction of the island and we will have to tear our ceiling apart to fix it.
