Website offered upgrade to service for 30 days free but charged my card for the trial. Immediately after submitting my credit card information which I believed would not be charged for 30 days I contacted online chat of the error and requested refund since I did not use the service. They refused.

In 2022 - I signed up for an annual membership - assuming it would be a choice next year. In 2023 - without any advance warning, and with NO receipt (saying they'd taken the money) - they billed me another annual amount. I did NOT want to pay annually because I was moving my company to another service. It took over 2 months to get my money back - no matter who I spoke with they just kept saying "it's in our terms of service" we don't have to contact you and we don't have to give you a receipt. Really? I fought for a month - and finally got a partial refund. I canceled my account on March 13 (it's a 3-page process with all kinds of freaking questions) and they billed me AGAIN on March 28. I contacted customer service again and they told me I had only "attempted to cancel my account" and I hadn't clicked all the right buttons. And once again "it's in our terms of service" we can't do anything for you. For the record - I had to cancel annual memberships on 3 other products, Zapier, DropFunnels, and ClickFunnels - each one - simply refunded my annual amount, and started billing monthly. No muss, no fuss! GetResponse seems to be a con, hiding behind "it's in our terms of service". I want to be REFUNDED the monthly charge issued by GetResponse on March 28, 2023

I have received a charge from the company of of $206.59 on Mar 6, 2023. When I signed up for the service it was on 3/6/2022 for $147.60. Back on Jul 14, 2022, I received an notice that the rate will increase to $15.58 per month which equates to $186.96. The charge on my account is $19.63 higher than the notice. From that I indicated that I wanted to cancel my subscription. They stated that due to there policies, they cannot provide a refund. The requested cancellation is the same day the charge went to my credit card. In their records would show the charge on the credit card is the same day as my cancellation and still they won't return my funds.
