    We started using Heron for lawn service the beginning of last year. We waited a few months to see any improvement on weed control but it looked more like they were fertilizing the weeds. We had to ask twice for follow-*** but still no improvement. We asked again, last month, for a follow-up but the tech never showed up. We rescheduled it three times with a no-show. The most incompetent company around.

    I have used their services for about 7 plus years. Now they have a new ownership. They keep raising their rates without any prior notice. My last payment was not received because they changed their payment address without notifying me. It was sent out in August and I had to stop the check and re submit it again. POOR service. Consumers choose wisely!!

    I started service with this company in Leesburg FL in July of 2023. They came out for roof rats and placed traps in the attic. They followed up through August and then stated that everything was taken care of and they couldn't get back in. Not even a week later we called and advised Heron that the rat were back. Heron responded and we have never seen or heard of them again. I have been making calls since August asking for a tech and they give me a date and no one calls or shows. Then making 12 calls they will not transfer me to a manager. I am writing this here and I am going to the physical office to file a complaint. I refuse to pay my bill. I will take them to court if I have to. I have proof and names for all times I called. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

    I should have checked this companies rating before I went with them, then I would’ve wasted my money. First:I have lawn, irrigation and termite with them. I told them from the beginning do not do two services in the same month, do lawn one month and irrigation the next. They continually schedule both in one month. Second:I have a brown spot in a certain area of my lawn, been trying to get them to address it for four months. tried contacting lawn mgr Mike James, never gets back to me. Weeds are all over my yard because they just hunt and spray instead of blanket spraying like they are suppose to. Third: I checked my sprinklers and some are not rotating like they should, called for a revisit was told they will check it on their next scheduled visit. I am so dissatisfied with this company so will be searching for another.

    I wish I could give them zero stars. They don't return phone calls when you try to cancel service, they don't actually spray for pests. They say they do, but the same day they "sprayed" for wasps I was chased by 4 in the yard and I had ants in my house the next day. When I called them to come back out, the technician "sprayed" a 1400 square foot house inside and out in less than 10 minutes. Only one window was ever wet with spray. I know its warm in Florida, but it shouldn't be dry as he was spraying and he was being watched by my parents. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone needing pest control services at all

    Heron Home and Outdoor before they were taken over by Rentokil, was a very good company with excellent customer service. Since the take over, they have been absolutely horrendous in their customer service levels and have not lived up to the standards when Heron was a standalone company. My property was damaged by their chemical spraying. I was looking to get the company to come out and make the necessary repairs due to their damage. I have tried 4 times to reach an Operations Manager, no call back. I was told that I would receive a call from the District Manager, on two requests, no call back. Called the office again, stated it was placed as an urgent customer complaint, no call back. Do not waste your time with this company. What was a good company, has now turned into a sham.

    Heron lied to us about services, misrepresented services provided and when provided, almost destroyed our lawn, admitted service people did not provide services, then, turned last payment on account over to their NJ collection agency when we should be suing them for all funds paid! In speaking with a manager, like listening to a political bully - they have deservingly lost scores of customers. Sloppy service and management that uses false and unproven claims to collect fees never deserved. In speaking with neighbors, similar results that caused termination of their services as well. They deserve what they have received!

    I am not happy with the service, and they have been working at my house for a long time. They are supposed to treat my ficus for white flies, but I need someone else to come do it as well. Whatever Heron is putting on it is useless. I'm done now. Yesterday, someone "new" from Broward County (or so he said) came to do the work on my lawn and he sprayed all over my walkways. Since I have cats, the amount of spray was both irresponsible environmentally and not very good for any of us. I am in contact with the company and will request no billing for this session. I will also look for a less expensive, better service. It's overpriced and consistently under-delivering.

    I have video of NO service performed. Spoke to District Manager who stated my camera must have "not been working" while my lawn was being serviced, however, have since hired Massey (with video of them servicing my lawn) and also have video of my lawn mower guy servicing my lawn. My camera is working just fine. My lawn had been deteriorating with Heron, in my opinion because the paid-for service was not being performed. I now have had approximately 15 calls from them in a matter of two months, even after I asked that I not be contacted further due to the fact that I will not be paying the $64 from my last invoice due to the service not performed and will not be doing any further business with Heron.

    This is a ring doorbell camera that has a gap in time from when our employee rang the bell and when it next picked them up after finishing the service. They stood at the rear of their truck cleaning out residue from bottles to be disposed of properly. The gap in time is more than sufficient to complete the service with two specialist working together. Myself and several others reviewed the video provided, discussed the condition of the lawn with the specialists and verified product was used. Our determination is that the service was clearly performed and therefore the balance is due for said service.

    At 1:40 p.m. Heron was at my door. No one answered, and for 47 seconds I watched as the man waited a bit, then proceeded to stick the Heron sign in my yard. At this point, I clicked on "LIVE VIEW" and watched for 3:01 minutes as two men appeared to be conversing with each other at the back of the truck, open and close the side door, and then get into the truck and take off. There was no gap in my camera as I was watching on live view. There is no footage of anyone spraying my lawn; therefore, I will not being paying for service that was NOT clearly performed.
