I am thrilled with my new front doors. They had to be made due to the odd size and it did take a few months. Definitely worth the wait. The installers were great. Even ******** loved them. Rod the owner communicated with me through out the process. I will have them replace my pool sliders when I am ready.Florida Window & Door Solutions LLC Response

If in fact all screens are manufacturer error, which is rare, we will re-screen your screens for you. ******* is a very honest and valued employee and If he told you that then it is a manufacturer defect. On the other hand, ******* should be answering your phone calls and will be calling you today mam to rectify this situation.

Patricia L I ordered two French doors and they were installed on July 10,2023. Upon completion, I was told the office would be in contact with me the next day to arrange a final inspection. Until then, I was not supposed to apply the finishing caps. I waited several days and no one contacted me. I then and Julie said there was a problem with my name not matching the contract to the deed. She had me text a copy of my marriage certificate and said that would fix the problem. Still no one contacted me. A week later I faxed a copy of my marriage certificate to them. They said that would fix the problem. After numerous calls to Julie, I was then directed to Marilyn, she told me she would get back to me. She never did. A week later I spoke with her again, and again she said she would get back with me. Still no response. I sent an email to Rod (the owner) and he never got back with me. I have called numerous times to talk to him, but he is either out of the building or at a meeting. Numerous times, I have left a message for him to call me and he never has. It has been almost two months and I am still waiting for an inspection to finish this project, There is no customer service with this company. I am appalled that they cannot arrange a final inspection to complete this projsct. There is little or no communication within this company. Please beware, before purchasing anything from this company!Florida Window & Door Solutions LLC Response

Hi Patty. Thank you for your constructive criticism as it enabled us as a company to evaluate where we went wrong in the line of communication and how to better serve not only you, but the rest of our customer base. We will have your inspection scheduled immediately.
Thank you!

Hi Matt I do hope this whole mess was just some kind of mega miscommunication .As of today, Sept. 12, I still have not heard from anyone, and to the best of my knowledge no inspection has been scheduled yet. I do hope you are a man of your word, and an inspection can be scheduled either this week or next. Please keep in mind, the doors were installed over two months ago. Thank you. I had windows installed in June 2022. Upon arrival, the technician found that we were missing a window. Apparently it was not ordered. He called his GM and she told him she would order it and rush it. This was on a Friday. They also were not able to complete my install that day. They did not have the caulk for the inside of the windows. They did the outside only and told me that it would be sufficient to seal from water/wildlife. I called the following Monday to see how I can pay for the new window. She said that she ordered it but had not yet received the confirmation of it. She said that can take a few days. She said she would email me the contract later in the week but that she was not too concerned about it. I never heard back until this week. She stated she had emailed me the contract a few times but never heard anything. Turns out she was emailing it to the wrong address. She did get the contract to me immediately upon me correcting the email. Due to the increased wait for the window, that I was told was already ordered but apparently wasn't, as well as the price, we have decided to skip the new window. I then called to schedule the return to finish caulking and my inspection. The GM stated she had no record of the job not being done. She said that they do not have any black caulk and have not been able to get any for months. I am wondering why they did my install then when they did not have the materiel to complete it. I have noticed an increase of bugs in my home, and a few of my windows are still showing a lot of condensation. I believe this to be from them not being properly sealed. Now I am forced to wait with unfinished windows and potential future damages because they cannot get the material. Again, they should have had it at install. I should not have been offered installation of the project could not be finished.Florida Window & Door Solutions LLC Response

We apologize for any inconvenience due to the situation.
The missing window was never on the original contract due to its location, as you confirmed, so yes it was never ordered as it was not on the contract. While we do recommend all windows be replaced in a home, we understand that clients have their reasons for not wanting certain ones done or leaving them out.
When the installer saw there was a opening without a window, he did speak with both of us and we figured out why and that it was not on original order. I did say I would order and get it rushed and would have the contract to you to sign before the time I would receive the final acknowledgement back from the manufacturer for sign off, as the process takes multiple days from the manufacturer. I did not receive the contract back so the order did not go through as we had not received the contract back.
As for the contract being emailed. I stated I was not concerned about the deposit, at that moment, as you were an existing client but that I needed the signed contract as soon as possible to be able to order. The emailed contract was sent the following day after you told me you would like to order the additional window. The email address was not incorrect as you finally responded to the previously sent email last week after we spoke. I'm unsure why you did not receive or see it over a month ago or if it could of been in your spam folder as it was sent multiple times before we called. You did return our call after our second phone call. We understand our clients have busy schedules and do not bombard them with calls until we receive no response after multiple attempts.
As stated last week I apologize for the incomplete caulking and I was unaware. As discussed, about the caulking currently being out of stock due to shortages on colored caulking in the industry and how I have not been able to get any in months, that is currently correct. We order months ahead for the jobs needing colored caulking and receive before the windows arrive. I currently do not have any. At the time of install we did have plenty of black caulking in, and as I stated I was unaware that your windows were not caulked on the inside as you completed and signed the installation completion form saying the job was complete with no additional notes or this would of been taken care of immediately. Also this was never mentioned in multiple conversations or your initial email response about the screen change. This issue was never mentioned in other conversations we had or even in email until after you responded informing me that you decided to not move forward with the last window last week.
I am working to do everything possible to get the caulking we need to complete for you.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
The GMCustomer Response

The location of the window had nothing to do with it not being ordered. It was measured, I know for a fact, so I don't know why it was missed. The email address WAS incorrect. We literally spoke on the phone and you read me the email and I told you it was wrong and you had to forward it to my new email. That's why I was able to see the contract and respond. And no, I did not answer your second phone call. I answered your FIRST AND ONLY phone call. Also, I did not mention having an issue with the screen change. Yes, I had ordered half screens and all my windows have whole screens, but I don't care, I'm actually quite happy with the whole screens. So I don't know why you mentioned that. Also, you did just state that at time of install you had plenty of black caulking. So why was it not done? If the installers ran out, why did they not go back to the shop to get more? Did they just want to go home since it was already late in the day? They should not have done my install if they could not finish it. It should not be up to me to have to tell you what the installers did not finish. That is not my job. It is the job of your staff.Florida Window & Door Solutions LLC Response

Hello!
At this time, my concern is getting your project complete. I am trying to locate some black caulking as what we had for your job must have been placed into stock and we are currently out.
I'm am unsure why I was not informed of the caulking issue but from what I have for signed completion documents and info gathered from our communications, I had no information that anything was not complete. It may have been something between you and the installer that it wasn't a issue and it would just be done at the same time as the last ordered windows as the windows are sealed from the exterior. We had all intentions of expediting the additional window for you as soon as we received your signed agreement. Unfortunately, I was not there at the contract signing so I do not know why it was not on the contract or ordered but I do know you received the windows you signed for, paid for and that were installed. I tried to expedite and order the last window for you but after multiple attempts of getting a signed contract back, that you were expecting from me, I did not receive and put the window on hold. After a month went by and no response to emails or call from you about the contract, you were expecting, I did try again by means of phone to get the signed contract back from you so the order could be released and the window expedited. I can not let any orders pass final acknowledgement without a signed contract, I'm sorry. It was not until last week when you decided not to send back the signed agreement and order the last window that the caulking was mentioned. Again, I apologize but that is exactly why we cannot order any product without signed documentation. If you had changed your mind when we received the product in, we would of been left with a custom window we could not use and would of still had to pay for it.
As soon as I can get some black caulking in, we will be reaching out to complete the interior final touches. Thank you for your patience.Customer Response

I would just like to reiterate that the only reason we cancelled the window is because we did not want to wait even longer now, since we were under the impression that it was ordered in June. Had the window been ordered when we were told it was, we would have happily paid and waited for it's arrival. But we do not want to wait now even longer because you guys can't communicate appropriately. Please have the owner of the company reach out to me.
