Good Morning, and Happy New Year
 I hope people will take a minute and read this response before they just accept this review as a legitimate representation of how we do business.. It is not..
On Nov. 16th, 2024, we received an email from the BBB letting us know we had a new review. Generally, our reviews are pretty good so I didnt think too much about it, but after reading it, I knew something didnt quite add up.
 I looked to see if we had any calls from the Tourangeaus in our office or to our service, and we hadntNot One..We have every call that has come into our office going back years, so we know if someone has called or not. We had zero calls from this customer expressing a problem with their job..It just seems to me that if someone was that unhappy with something we were doing, they would have informed the management or the owner of the problem before going and saying ugly untrue things on our BBB report..
It was Mrs. ********** that wrote this bad review, but it was Mr. ********** that we dealt with during the whole job. So, once we read the review, we called Mr. ********** and asked him what was wrong. We asked him, does something need to be fixed? And he said No..We offered to re-do the work if it was wrong and again he said.. No..He said he was happy with the job and it looked nice. We did exactly as we said we would do and stopped the leaking issue they had.. We performed the same process for the exact same price for the neighbors, and we stopped their leaks too, and they were happy as well. (We have pictures and videos of this job for anyone to see if they would like to see what we did).. 
After Mr. ********** told us he was happy with the work. We asked, then, what was the problem? He said they had an issue with the fact we chose to use Hand Tools to dig out the cracks rather than use Power Tools. He said communication was an issue (But I will give them that, it was less than a month after the Hurricane and we were buried in calls,being pulled in every direction across 5 different counties. Call backs and scheduling were a nightmare. We are a Quality Contractor, and in High Demand so we were overwhelmedApologies Offered..). Finally, He said they felt like they paid too muchAfter the work was done..Honestly, buyers remorse is a real thing.  So we even offered a discount after the fact..We simply required that they sign a very standard form called a Hold Harmless. It is a settlement agreement waiver and release of lien.. It states simply that they dont owe us anything else, we dont owe them anything else, and that we wont talk smack about each other after its all over..It is a very standard form, but they would not sign it.. Rather, the last email we have from them states if we give them the money they will remove the bad review.. You make up your own mind about what that means..
Mrs. ********** accused us of being inconsiderate,untrustworthy, and exploiters. Those are harsh accusations and false. Never before have we written a contract, and done exactly what we said we would do in the contract, for exactly the amount of money we stated in the contract, and then be called exploiters? Furthermore, people dont always understand *****,he isnt Threatening, but I will admit his personality is a little Gruff (some say he has the personality of a porcupine), but that does not make him threatening or a *****..
I am going to conclude with this. I do not appreciate the accusations made against our company in this review. Everything we have is honest..We have millions of dollars of business on the board right now and we appreciate every one of those customers. Big Jobs, Little Jobs..It makes no matter. We try our best to respect each person and every dollar our customers choose to spend with us. We havent taken anything from anyone we havent earned.. Everything we own came from hard work, sweat, and blood..Do we always get it right? Of course we dont, but we will always do what we must to make it right.
