One of Ruby International's biggest assets for me as I moved from the US to Europe, was their committed communication. They were consistently quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and continued to be from my first point of contact until the very end of my shipping relocation. Even when my items had arrived in Europe and were being handled by European contacts, who also were very customer service minded and quick to respond, yet when a problem occurred, Helen still took time out from a conference she as attending, to quickly respond and bring forth a positive and immediate solution. The ability to reach a real person through the whole process was of immense value and gave me a lot of peace.

This moving company took our money and then stole/destroyed my 83 year old mothers property. They charged her USD **** up front to pack and move her personal effects from ** to Ireland. Their three burly movers arrived 3 hours late and took her things, saying they would repack at the warehouse as they were running late. Almost a year later, they contacted us to say the shipment had arrived in port and we should pay a further USD **** to release from customs. What arrived was 1/4 of her items completely destroyed due to shoddy packing: her wedding ******* wrapped to at a time in one sheet of paper and then with cookbooks thrown in on top; wooden furniture not crated but wrapped in black plastic with tape directly on the wood. The remainder of the items including prized paintings and entire suites of furniture as well as antique cameras have all been lost supposedly. They have been aggressive and threatening and victim blaming throughout going as far as threatening lawsuits for posting videos and photos of their destruction and of the items posts. They were never for a moment contrite nor apologetic for basically stealing from an old woman and making her pay for them to do so. Their only answer is claim insurance, which they refuse to process in full. Even if they do eventually pay pittance for our claims (full commercial cost of all the items of irreplaceable sentimental value would only be **** dollars) they have already pocketed **** dollars for basically vandalising and stealing from an old lady.
