    I showed up at this location for a 7-passenger van that I prepaid $379.17 for on 6/8/2022. Itinerary #**************. Upon arrival I learned that they did not have a 7-passenger van for me. They instead offered 2 cars with an additional cost for over $1100.00. We needed the van as we were traveling with a handicapped person, so the cars were not an option. After numerous attempts to resolve this through *******, and trying to contact the rental agency, I was ultimately told that the van wasn't available because we showed up late. I called them after picking up my luggage at 4:15pm. The agreement was made for 4:00pm. 15 minutes is well within their 2-hour guaranteed grace period. I am attaching the following documents to verify my position. 1. Copy of my rental agreement. 2. Copy of the reason ******* was given because the van wasn't available. 3. Copy of their grace period in Orlando Florida 4. Copy of my***** log showing my phone calls to their agency in a very timely manner. I would like to also add my personal feelings on this business. This is a business that is a scam in the true sense of the word. During our time in this establishment there was a very hostile environment which made us all feel very unsafe. Everyone, and I literally mean everyone was having issues with the business. There was constant yelling and screaming from angry customers. Someone needs to something about their bait and switch tactics before there is a major issue there. They also left us stranded with a handicapped person. Very unethical at best.

    We rented a car from One Switch Rent a Car on February 8th, 2022 and we returned it on February 15th, 2022. Without us knowing it (our bank told us afterwards) they ran and charged our card for the full security deposit, $500, on February 9th. This should only have been a pending charge. Once we returned the car they did an extremely thorough inspection and found a sesame size chip in the windshield and claimed it was our fault. On February 8th, when we rented it, it was nighttime/dark and pouring rain so there was water all over the windshield and the pictures taken by them were not very good to compare to the ones from when we returned it. We filed an insurance claim immediately upon their request. My insurance company, USAA, has reached out to them multiple times and they have not responded to them. Just recently, after emailing One Switch numerous times, most without a response from them, they told me they reached out to USAA but that they had not heard back from them. I just checked in with USAA and they said that One Switch has not sent them anything and that USAA had emailed them again on May 2nd, 2022 asking for their demand and car paperwork but have still yet to hear back. Based on the lack of communication, the lies I have heard from multiple people at One Switch and the fact that they actually withdrew the $500 from my account the day after I rented the car, I believe they are scamming us and are not intending on returning our $500.
