We needed to ship my son's car from *************** to ************ and ******* was our representative from American Car Transporters. From the initial call to the final delivery she took great concern to ensure the shipping was complete. She was very patient with my calls and concerns and answered all my questions and responded back to me promptly. They were on time (actually an hour early) with the pick up, which was my biggest concern and the delivery was also on time with no issues and no damages. I highly recommend American Car Transporters and ******* as a Representative. Thank you!Review from Donna L

Terrible! People need to beware of this company. They give you a price and put a portion on your credit card then when the vehicle arrives to the destination you have to pay the rest in cash up front. That seems to be a scam!! This is standard practice in transporting a vehicle. All customers are told upfront that this is the payment process. Not only was this explained to her on the phone, but it's also clearly stated on the agreement that she signed. It's also reiterated in the final email provided with the summary of the transport, including payment breakdown, options and who to pay to. It's not to avoid taxes, we are two separate companies and trucking companies don't take credit cards or personal checks. All companies we hire are valid business registered with a EIN number and with the Department of Transportation. I was very pleased with American Car Transporter. They were straight forward, organized and easy to deal with. Moving one's car can be a very sketchy business with 'Low Balling" being a common practice. "Low Balling" is a practice of quoting you a price in order to get your business and then reneging on that price at a later point in time after you are up against a deadline. That did not occur with Mitch. His original quote was within a narrow range and the final price fell within that range. A second factor in your choice is the reliability of the actual car carrier themselves. Ours was excellent. He spoke fluent English which is always helpful in communicating and arrived at his destination when he said he would. All in all it was a good experience.American Car Transporters, Inc Response
