    I had ADT for 2 years. My first experience with ADT was with a technician that couldn't keep his eye off my wife, made both of us feel awkward. I actually made a complaint after seeing saved videos of her on my security panel after he left. Had the hardware malfunction multiple times (only a few months in), and the customer service is the worst. The ***s are never consistent. I had to call to cancel my account multiple times after switching to Vivint (btw no complaints!). Thinking it was cancelled I noticed an ADT bill, stating I was 120 days past due for the amount of $351. I immediately called and was transferred to the cancellation department. After the *** reviewed the notes from my previous calls, she stated I clearly called to cancel my account and even paid the remaining balance, however they failed to transfer you to the cancellation department to cancel the account. Keep in mind I called twice to cancel. After being put on hold for 10 minutes, the *** tells me that she talked to the back office and they acknowledge my previous calls to cancel, but because I was not transferred to the cancellation ***** they can't back date the cancellation date. Wow, good customer service would acknowledge my intent and see the failure of their staff and honor the back dated cancellation.

    I was transfer to Las Vegas from my job and added my service in the new address. I transferred service not to pay a fee. When I returned to Orlando I paid a discounted payment for 6 moths until I could move back into my home. On March of 2021 I signed a new agreement and ADT personell never closed my account account even though I transfer service. They have been charging me since June of 2020 and when I called to get this fixed they would not give me my money back. Very frustrating and incredibly horrible customer service. I will never do business with this company again. I been using ADT services for 22 years and also used it in my business and you would think they would be more accommodating??!!! unbelievable??!!

    Each time you have issue they have you sign and the man says it's to ok him to work on your system will come to find out it's to sign a new contract and that's how they get you. I dislike this company with a passion. Do not recommend at all.

    1. After long conversation with Sales Rep, I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk Wi-Fi 6 Router (MR70S-1ADNAS) to connect to my Spectrum Modem. After an explanation of the value of a Satellite I purchased the Router with the understanding a Satellite would be included. 2. At time of purchase, I scheduled a virtual appointment with a technician on 2/1/25 to assist with the set, incase my neighbor could not get the two systems to communicate. 3. Received box that only included the Router. 4. The quick start 4 page insert shows #2 Add the MS70 Satellite. There was no satellite in the box. 5. My neighbor and had what we thought was a successful connection between router and modem. All lights were blue. However, checking my laptop it showed Netgear15 available, but when selected, "no internet" connection. 5. I escalated issue of no satellite to CSR and they transferred me to Sales. Long discussion said I was "not" due a satellite per the order #2024-03-26 and quick start guide. He informed me that it would cost at least $100 to order one. I declined. 6. Tech calls on 2/1/25 and after 45 minutes unsuccessfully got the router to work. I was informed it must have a satellite in order to complete the installation. Added cost of $129.declined because I could get a better price on Amazon. 7. Sidebar. I spoke with a different technical support on problems with my ADT wall control unit was showing Wi-Fi unable on one line, further down it showed no Wi-Fi available. He explained glitch in system, but discrepancy was fixed 8:30pm night before. I asked him if a satellite was necessary to install a Nighthawk Router and he said "Yes," It is frustrating that ADT would falsely sell a Nighthawk Router without everything needed (Satellite) for a successful installation. I'm sending Router back, but keep the "Hub" I purchased with the same order.

    I've moved several times and have been a loyal customer with **********************. I'm moving again and I'm still paying on old equipment. I was told they would accommodate me and comp my new equipment when I move. When I spoke to someone else they said they would only provide a discount. These people will gladly take your money but not help you when you need to relocate. *** ******* was the agent I talked to and he was rude, unprofessional and he will talk over you. Terrible service.

    We needed out Touch screen panel moved from our living room into our kitchen. Called customer service to set it up. They told me it would be a $59 service fee....which we agreed to pay. The day after the tech came and moved it they did an auto pay out of our account for $194. The day after that we got an email of a work order summary showing the $59 service fee and an additional $135 for the time the tech spent. At no time did anyone mention that there would be an additional fee of $135. On the work order summary it appears that someone made an attempt at putting down a signature in the form of a R shaped letter...which was not from us and a bunch of boxes with check marks that we also did not do. Called customer service back and got no where with them in resolving the additional charge that we were never made aware of or how the work order summary could have some sort of signature. Very shady business in my opinion

    I sold the house in question 3 months ago. I canceled ADT SECURITY service. ADT continued deducting $60.49 out of my bank account and wont give it back. They say they have no record of my cancellation. I asked why havent I received calls about a break in being someone is living in the *********. They said the alarm shows no activity. They thanked me for being a good customer for 13 years but will not give me my money back.

    Was lied to multiple times about the pricing from the original sale to the pricing to fix a problem. I called to share the discrepancies and they were unable to do anything. I would not recommend going with ADT to anyone

    Cameras up high are no good if you ever change your internet provider, unless you are willing to climb. A service tech visit is $200+. I'm stuck with the equipment I guess I have to keep adt services otherwise I would change. I pay $80 per month, I'd think they could send a tech out once in awhile.
